Tasty bagel sandwiches and good service. Well managed. The staff ironically flaunt signs with funny grumpy copywriting, but they’re so kind as people.
Atmosphere: it’s so so, but it’s in a Bloomfield gas station, so what can I really expect? Reasonable amount of soul, given the constraints. I like that it’s less commercial than its competitor. Also better than its other location where everyone speaks in a strong Indian accent.
Food criticism: it would be nice if they carried a better quality sausage than the standard garbage from US Foods or whatever. Coffee selection could be better and is an upsell opportunity for them.

Excellent breakfast spot. Not much of an ambiance as it is fast paced. But the service is excellent and the food is warm and tasty. i would def recommend this place. Breakfast for 2; we had 2 Saturday specials, an omelet special, drink total was $32

Overall, a decent place but there are some opportunities to improve. It’s in the same space as a subway so that subway bread smell drowns out every other smell in the room. The iced coffee is small. The service is a bit slow to make the food even with no one ahead of you. The bagels are decent though, so if you’re willing to deal with the other stuff then it may be worth a go.

I stop in here for to go food all the time, but this Monday morning Isaac’s seemed less busy than usual so I grabbed a seat at the counter. I asked if they had corned beef hash since I didn’t see it on the menu and it turns out, they do, and it’s homemade which they make fresh per order, it was outstanding!!! Treat yourself if you’re a fan. The over easy eggs were perfect and the service is always great. Bagels, breakfast, or lunch, lots to love. Definitely stop here when you’re in Bloomfield.

It’s a must-go breakfast spot. I stopped in before an interview and had the best hot breakfast sandwich of my life. So good, I’m driving back to the area today just to get this sandwich. Sausage egg and cheese on a croissant did not disappoint and the staff are so nice and efficient! Well worth a detour!

Good coffee. The meat lovers omelette was chock full of meat but devoid of any cheddar cheese. That was a big miss. The server never did the follow-up. They have a home brew house sauce that is very good and available for sale. The place is very clean.

If you’re not already at the other Isaac’s, you should be at this one. Your life will improve if you get an egg sandwich here – trust me, it happened to me. Before Isaac’s, I was down on my luck. Lost my job, my wife left me, she turned the kids against me, took the dog, crashed my truck, bottle of whiskey. I was walking up Blue Hills Ave from the cemetery (I faked my death to see if anyone came to the funeral. Spoiler alert: they didn’t) and needed a bathroom to check if I had poison ivy from the bushes I was hiding in. I figured Subway had one, so I walked in. Before I could locate the restroom, a voice called out, “You look like you could use some eggs.” The lady was right. I nodded, and sat down – the poison ivy rash identification could wait. Moments later, she handed me a beautiful, golden egg sandwich. Tears flowed down my face as I ate it. It was like looking into the face of God. I could hear his voice booming, “You are now and forever the son of Isaac. Trust in him, and you will be blessed.” Suddenly, my phone rang. It was my ex-wife. Turns out, she had a tumor on her amygdala that was causing her out of character behavior, and upon its removal she felt like herself again and wanted me to move back in. She was waiting at our house with the dog and a new truck. The kids still wouldn’t talk to me, but I never liked them much anyway. They went to live with grandma. As I hung up, the phone rang again. Former president Barack Obama was on the line. He asked if he could hire me to send him memes a couple times a week. $500k salary, unlimited PTO, health benefits. I was in shock at this turn of events. Eager to return home, I turned around to ask the woman if I could get a piece of crumb cake to go, and before I could speak she said, “Check the bag.” She winked at me and vanished. I peered inside the small brown paper bag that had held the egg sandwich, my mouth agape in wonder. A large square of crumb cake was now at the bottom, and the crumbs were arranged to spell out the words, “Follow your dreams. Even if you miss, seeing is believing.” I’ll never forget those words for as long as I live.
