Food is amazing here and they have really good tortillas that they make there. They also have really good agua frescas. They are very friendly and service is fast.
While they do have tables to eat at, it is only a few as the dining area is very small. So I would recommend getting your food to go.
I recommend the barbacoa and the chicharrónes. They also have really good menudo, though it has very little hominy if that matters to you. But the flavor is really good. I just add a little hominy when I get home.
I’ve only been a few times, but this is fast becoming one of my favorite places to get food.

Update: second try for some reason our food was super spicy. I love spicy but was almost unbearable…
Stopped by on the way back home and was pleasantly surprised when I found this restaurant by the service road on I20. Ordered tacos, Chille Relleno and the food was very good. Service could be more attentive but overall had a good experience and it’s a good option in the area.

The food is ok but the girl that works at check out is very rude and condescending, I asked question and she barely responded to my question super unfriendly como si te estubiera haciendo un favor like wth calmate girl lol not coming back yall just lost my business and by the way I’ve heard a lot of people complain about her too. I know it’s a family business but yall might as well hire someone that is actually willing to do their job and be professional.

Ordered the Caldo de res. Took forever and I was late back to work. The soup was so delicious. Plenty of beef and nice big veggies that weren’t overpowering. Service is nice too. I will be back.

First time here. People lining up outside, always a good sign. The variety of food is amazing. The chicken and beef tacos were delicious with good sides ! Tne police officers at the nearby station will love it. Very reasonably priced . A wonderful place. We’ll be back!

Real good spot to get some barbacoa!! Never fails! They have a real good variety of what you need. Tortilla factory always good! It’s a must try if your in the cockrell hill area. Won’t disappoint at all!!

Excellent. Best tortillas and amazing carne asada and barbacoa. I get my meat by the pound and it is always the same great quality. Love the flour and corn tortillas, they always make them fresh and keep them warm for you. So yummy.
