I’ve been to this spot multiple times now and it has become one of my go-tos for Mexican food. I’ve tried a big chunk of their menu like the rotisserie chicken, tacos, flautas, burritos, and the alambre and everything has been consistently delicious.
But the real standout is their homemade salsa lineup. They’ve got everything from mild to extra hot, and you can literally taste the love and care they put into each one. The salsas elevate every dish and make already great food taste even better.
If you’re looking for authentic flavors, solid portions, and that “homemade” touch that’s hard to find, this place is absolutely worth checking out.

This is a family-run spot with bare bones friendly staffing. That being said, they make the best Mexican food in the area at a very reasonable price. The menu is extensive and not just awesome roasted chicken. Every taco, torta, gordita, and breakfast we’ve had is the best (especially the steak). Their salsa station showcases their absolute skill. Their menu items, and salsas, are not greasy or salty but flavorful. You’re not going to get a full service experience but you can expect good cooking and a friendly smile Guerrero style! They also have beer, tequila and mezcal…just sayin’. Salud!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, but honestly this restaurant isn’t anything special. We came for breakfast burritos To-Go and waited a while for them to be made when we just wanted something we could just grab quickly. The burritos were decent size, pretty bland, and pricey for what we received. I wasn’t impressed with the interior and handwritten signs and notes everywhere (unprofessional). There was a paper menu on the counter with handwritten price changes on it, and a stack of menus with original prices on them, so a bit confusing as to what prices actually are. With all the restaurants with amazing food and atmospheres, this place has nothing that makes us want to return. Sad, because we support smaller restaurants and I was really pulling for this place.

Sat there for 10 minutes while the “waitress” ignored me and flirted with an underage boy. Eventually left and got no food as she didn’t even greet me an I was disgusted with the behavior. She had large fake lashes, was a short Hispanic girl, wore large hoops. I’m only describing her in hopes the owners are concerned about their employees behavior.

My family and I have been here for dinner which is delicious! However, this was our first time enjoying breakfast. Oh my goodness….Jose greeted us as soon as we walked in, escorted us to our table, and let us know the breakfast smothered burrito is one of their favorite entrees selected. So, we ordered that and the Senor Chicken Omelette which comes with hash browns and I chose pancakes. Talk about being full….hospitable service with a smile and delicious!!! Supporting local businesses.

First time eating breakfast at Senor Chicken. The $9.99 breakfast burrito was large and could easily split for two. The green chili is EXCELLENT with enough heat without sweating off my makeup. I had the sausage burrito and the sausage was flavorful (tasted like Boulder breakfast links). The flour tortilla was fresh and soft. Next time I’ll ask for the hashbrowns on the side. It made the burrito so huge! Overall very tasty and we will be back for their chicken lunch specials.

Delicious chicken and sides! Unassuming place, with a simple menu. Booths are little outdated. You can really taste the attention given to the meat. Reasonably priced for the area and cuisine. Genuinely pleased with my experience.
