I dont know if its just the two drinks me and my girlfriend got but this place taste wise was extremely disappointing. The atmosphere and workers here are extremely nice and definitely makes you believe that you’re about to get good tasting high quality drinks but despite the amazing atmosphere and workers the drinks themselves were extremely disappointing and tasted very watered down and not up to cafe quality. I haven’t tried the food here yet so maybe that tastes good but the drinks I got have made me carful to ever come here again. Also I dont know if its was just the time that I went but closing a Cafe at 3pm is just absurd.

The coffee was OK. Nothing memorable for their drip. They do have lots of options so perhaps others are better (or worse). The grilled cheese sandwich but extremely greasy. The chips with it were homestyle kettle fried and very oily too. Maybe other dishes are better or less fatty. A few tables outside. Inside was cramped.

I can’t really say enough positive things about this place. We have been getting scones for years from here. To say these scones are the best in the world is still not doing them justice. You almost have to throw away all prior expectations and mental models of what a scone is and simply understand that these scones are beyond next level. They are light, airy, moist, and unlike any other scone you have ever had. The chive and cheese scone is my favorite with the apricot and goat cheese scone coming in at a close second. I have had afternoon high teas all over the world and not a single scone comes close to these. The owner is so nice and a very talented baker. Best scones on this earth by far!

We were searching for pour over around the area. So glad to find this amazing little spot with a good selection of pour over! $4 each and they tastes so good. Great service. Friendly staff. Price is on point. Cozy vibe and nice outdoor tables to let you enjoy your drink and breakfast. They seem to have some delicious sandwiches too.

Place has gone down hill. It’s always cluttered and a mess, very dim lighting. Baristas and staff always look mad or depressed. 8 dollars for a tiny cup of steamed milk with powders and fake honey total ripoff. Go to Cat n Cloud instead. Way better

Seems like they have fallen off since the manager lady stopped coming in. The baked goods are increasingly uninspiring, the service increasinly unpleasant and aggressive. Some individuals more than others. Its seems like a big party for the employees every time im in there. They seem more interested in each other than the customers. Love this place but I think what made me love it has since gone away. Alas, we are we we are.

Delicious, homey, and cute. Super friendly staff and quick service. The goat cheese and pluot scone was incredible!
Great for breakfast, brunch, or lunch to grab a quick bite

Small sandwich shop in the middle of town. Good food selection, sandwich was of high quality, and the coffee was amazing. Nice seating area outside as they are still restricting seating inside. The inside is small regardless, so will be best to be outside, especially on a good sunny day.

Great interior, feels very cozy. Sometimes doesn’t mix matcha fully but all other drinks I have tasted are fine. Staff are wonderful and always great with recommendations and answering questions. Price is not too unreasonable.

I’ve had breakfast here multiple times during my stay in Santa Cruz, not once did it disappoint. The prices are reasonable, the food is delicious. I especially recommend the Otter Latte
