UPDATE: I took a bite of the hotdog it is rotten! I threw it back up and now my stomach hurts SO THANKFUL MY 6 year old DIDNT EAT THAT!!!!
Bringing it down too a 1 star after that …

I never leave bad reviews… I remember when this place first opened in Chester near the gas station up the road… I got the hot dog for my son the bun is stale … hot dog is grey not edible for 4$ rough .. got 4 soups rica soup was cold and the cheese wasn’t even melted on top … the cheese nachos were horrible cheese not melted in spots and also the chips were burnt so no idea how that even happens they were out of bowls so all 4 soups were in cups(fine) but not even half filled and again toco soup cold and the corn was cold right out of a can i spend 45$ and am really disappointed I loved this place ! I thought they had nocho cheese too but it’s just white shredded and not melted chesse … I love right down the road .. but we will not be back . Sad. Although the pulled poke was great ! That’s about it though not worth the $ I only go out for fast food once a month so this one hurt lol #notlikeitwas

Just got some of their amazing soup at the Market on Main in Brattleboro. Delicious! So nice to see a mix of things at different prices and multiple vegan/vegetarian options, too. Delicious!

A very good stop during our US roadtrip to Hartford along the I91. We ordered the chicken burrito and pulled pork BBQ. Big portion and refreshing. In the Burrito, I like that they put nacho to have that crunchy bite! The pulled pork BBQ came with a bag of chips! There are 2 picnic table but no shade in a hot day. There is a chemical toilet so good very pit stop!

Kind staff and great soup. If you like clam chowder, you’ve got to try the one here!
It’s located in a gorgeous spot to sit and eat. No complaints!

Stopped for the 1st time ever. Personally I tried the brisket it tasted fine, came with chips, and coleslaw. Really disnt feel like an $18 sandwich The sandwich was great, coleslaw seemed a bit old. Kids liked the BBQ pulled pork on the nachos. Nachos are made with melted shredded cheddar. We may have gone on an off day, the watermelon cherry lemonade tasted like it should have been tossed and a new batch made.

This little shack has huge flavor! If you like creamy tomato, have the African Peanut soup, comes with a fresh baguette slice, you will not be disappointed! Craziest thing – it comes in a cup so you can drive off into the sunset, soup sipping and smiling. Nachos are out of this world (need to find out what they are putting in there). Whether it’s a sunny day at the picnic table or lunch on the go, grab a “bowl”. You won’t regret it!

This is an amazing food stand and is our go-to apres ski stop. The staff is really nice! They have at least 10 soups daily. About half are always there (Classics like N.E. clam chowder), plus a rotation. There is a great mix of meat and veggie options. Everything is grab and go with the soups in a hot coffee style cup. The hot dogs and nachos are great plain, but the chili or pulled pork toppers are fantastic. They have fun swag & some cool local products like hot sauce & pickles too. We’re regulars and have been satisfied every time. Definitely worth the stop!

Food wasnt bad.
I stopped as I thought they would have some type of bowls with meat, but no such luck.
So just a little misleading but maybe I was over thinking the name. Service was quick and friendly.

They have the best soup I’ve ever had besides my mom’s cooking. They also have BBQ pork nachos that are really good and I don’t even like BBQ pulled pork. There soups change but they do come back around. My daughter loves the African Peanut Soup. And I’m trying the Carrot Ginger today. They have other things too like sandwiches and drinks. It’s totally worth the money and the trip. I’m so greatful they are still open after all these years. I’ve been enjoying there soups since I was 17.

Don’t know how you could not rate this place 5 stars. Had the Chili cheese dog, BBQ pulled pork, West African Peanut soup and the French onion soup. All absolutely delicious. Better than restaurant quality
