We came to town to meet friends and decided to bring them here. I am German and the menu looked simple and delicious. I wasn’t sure if the guys were beer drinkers but I know my husband would try some so this was a good place to sit and visit. Turns out they had a full bar too which is great since I don’t like beer. Our waitress was awesome and welcomed us right away and took drink order. She asked the guys what type of beer they liked and she gave them options. I chose to have the Prost Mule which was delicious so I ended up having two. I remember the guys saying “it’s warm” meaning the beer don’t was real traditional room temp and turns out they both liked the flavor very much. The guys all ordered bratwurst and I had one of the pretzels with beer cheese which was perfect for sitting and visiting. Everyone enjoyed their food and our waitress was great and kept checking on us. We ended up sitting and visiting for 4 hours and we are definitely going back so I can try some brats and have a few more of my favorite Mules.

If you’re looking for good German food, look elsewhere. The food is expensive and not that great. Wooden benches with no backs or cushions. Good music and good service but German salad was bland and not hot. Sausages were pretty good but sauerkraut was just fried cabbage. $21 for 3 sausages on fried cabbage and 2 kinds of mustard, and we bought another mustard. We had to order a side of potato salad. ‘Sorry. We were hoping it would be good.

Awesome place with great food and beer. Authentic German food hits the spot paired with a good marzen. Super friendly staff makes it feel like home, definitely a new favorite for us!

There are outdoor seatings and the atmosphere feels like I was in “Germany.” There was only one waiter so my table had to wait few minutes. The pork cutlet was thin and crispy but could be more seasoned. The potato salad was good but could use a little more salt. The pickled cucumbers with thymes, I can definitely taste a lot of vinegar. Pretzel was very chewy. The pork cutlet sandwich was delicious. The onion brats were juicy and tasty. If you never had food like this, it might get some time to get used to the vinegar side dishes and meat not as seasoned. You would need to dip in sauces.

Recommend by a family member to go here while we were visiting. This place was fantastic. I lived in Germany, and the food brought me right back. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We got the Prost Brat and Prost Frankfurter and a pretzel. That first bite as the mustard hit me was pure heaven. No complaints about the food at all. Other places try to get it right. This place 100% did it right. Everything was spot on. My only complaint is that I wish we knew about this place sooner as it was our last day in town. We definitely will be back on our next visit.

Delightful! Wish we had brought our dog since the patio is pet friendly. The food was delicious. The beer properly poured and served. Our server was handling the busy patio on her own and still maintained a pleasant attitude. There were large large toys and puzzles which families enjoyed. We’d love to return next time we are in the area.

This place is about as German as Olive Garden is Italian—but considering we’re 5,000+ miles from Munich, I didn’t come expecting schnitzel perfection. What they do have is a great lineup of German beers and solid pub food that hits the spot. The atmosphere is fun, the staff is friendly, and I didn’t need a passport or know how to pronounce “Weissbier” to enjoy myself. I’ll definitely be back—maybe even in lederhosen, if the beer’s strong enough

Fantastic experience here! Super authentic and staff was super kind. Plenty of meal options and they even have a partnership with a few restaurants next door so that you can bring food from there into this restaurant, and vice versa. Food came quick and was delicious! I got the bratwurst with tater tots. Hands down best tots I have EVER had and I had extras to bring home 🙂 . Will definitely return if we are back in Reno again! Keep up the good work!

I’ve been here for over 30min there is no waitstaff to actually service the tables. People are forced to stand in line to order drinks or food.
The drinks (Beer are flat and should not be served) 3 different ones, no head on the beer or carbonation. As if the beer is months old.
Stammtisch Gäste are entitled and rude.
The fact that they had a Porsche Club Meet going on and didn’t have the staff to accommodate the guest, not the club or additional customers. Highly disappointed in the fact that the owner sets his staff up to fail. By not assuring adequate staffing or making sure he is there to assist and lead his team to success.
The staff also doesn’t know about what the meats are or where they come from.
1 cook, not able to keep up with orders. When orders come up, no one is serving them to the tables.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this place didn’t shut down in the next 3-6 months because of the bad service and flat beer alone.
Being a German who grew up in Bavaria, I would never send anyone here to drink or eat.
To the owner. Your article in Eat Reno is a false hope. Du solltest dich schämen.
Also, the QR Code doesn’t work at the tables because it gave me the option to buy the domain. Also, it’s not a good sign for business.
