Didn’t let the neighbourhood decieive you. Despite the odd access road and low key signage lies bagel abundance.
Chewy bagels made just right.
Once they sell out that’s it though, so in my case no sesame were left, but plenty of Everything. The earlier in the morning you arrive the better.
Small tubs of cream cheese with various flavor to go, but just like the bagels, some can sell out.

The bagels may be really good but the service is consistently poor. They do have a large selection of bagels and cream cheese, muffins, etc. but the prices are high. Today, the coffee cup lids didn’t fit and close correctly.
I don’t know why they can’t figure out a system to move the orders ahead efficiently with all the people befind the counter. It’s always like that, but today was the worst. This morning I counted 22 people in line to order, out the door. Also, would be nice if they would clean the tables, empty the garbage and fix the problems that have been consistently there. I take 2 ladies usually twice a month for breakfast and we typically wait about 10-15 minutes for Bagels.

Used to frequent Ami’s when I was working in the area, haven’t been in ~7 years at this point, bagels are still awesome, I recommend you get an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese; heads up – it’s CASH only.

These bagels ARE TO DIE FOR. I went in for my first time today and did not know this is a cash only place! When I presented my card the woman politely asked if I had cash, which I did not. She didn’t bat and eye and said “no problem, next time is $2.99”…I insisted on going to the atm but they waved me off! No big deal! She even gave me a few bagels to take home to the family. What a wonderful little business with such kind hearted owners!! My family DEVOURED these bagels! Best around!!!
I will be returning as their kind business practices and delicious food are exactly the type of people I want to support here in town.

I am US Army Soldier on my way to NYC with my girl. I only had card on me as payment method. Owner and staff were so polite and understanding, they gave us two bagels for free. I will definitely stop by again when passing through and strongly recommend place to service members, friends and family.

I finally made it here when they’re open as they have now found out that they close early afternoon. Tried this bagel for the first time but heard about it for years. Oh my God this is the most wonderful bagel. I decided to get a whole wheat everything once they prepare it and got it to the counter, I gave them my card and then found out that they only take cash which I did not have. I apologize. I was getting ready to leave in the honor decided to give it to me anyway that is great customer service and he will definitely have a return cut. Thank you so much Ami’s!

Perhaps the best bagels in Connecticut! Highly recommend the jalapeño bagel with scallion cream cheese. Bring cash and an empty stomach! Great prices and great flavors

Amazing people. My sister and I stopped by for bagels. After driving all the way from the city we were hungry. They were cash only and we both didn’t have cash. They were kind enough to offer the bagels for free. We were hesitant and another customer offered to pay. What a loving environment. I will return with cash next time I’m in the area.
