We really did enjoy our visit. We just commented how we are so tired of loud, busy , noisy restaurants and wished for a classic restaurant and we came upon Creek Road Cafe.
The minute I entered my shoulders dropped, I relaxed and looked forward to a delicious meal. I was NOT disappointed . The staff was helpful, friendly and professional. The pear salad was very flavorful , we enjoyed the ravioli appetizer. The crab cakes were good.
Overall it was a perfect experience. I will be back to sample more of their varied selections.

Well, honestly, I would never have heard of this place if a gift-card weren’t involved. But I had one and decided to go on an early Sunday. The waiter was on us pretty quickly, naming off the specials and whatnot. He came off very eager, but he was very nice. The seafood salad was great and the mimosas weren’t strong enough, but all-in-all, CRC was great. I wholly recommend it to anyone looking for good service and quality food.

It was good, but a little over-priced for the quality. I feel like Jack Allen’s has higher value overall with a little better quality at a lower price point. However, the ambience was nice, the carrot cake was great for dessert, and service was great. We had the steak and the lamb chops. Decent, but not great.

Excellent place to eat. Our waiter was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the menu and chef. We had the full meal here from appetizers to dessert. I had the shrimp and grits ( I am not a fan of grits normally) the plate was beautifully presented and the flavor profiles were delicious.

Past by many times and today thought we would try it out. Never again. Service was fantastic. Seafood stuffed mushrooms were stuffed with what tasted like tuna fish from a can, could not eat but one and still tasting it 45 minutes later. Beer and wine only $$$$. Very limited selection on beer. Might be great for some but not us.

While visiting Dripping Springs we had a nice dinner because of the friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. However, I didn’t care for my pasta shell dish, which seemed flour-y and overly rich. my overall impression of the menu was that they are trying a bit too hard to make it “fancy” and precious. The location is very convenient, on the main drag through town. The exterior is inviting, with tiny white lights decorating the building and trees and a good amount of parking.

I was blown away with the level of service at this place! We stopped by for lunch on our way to Frederickburg and were wowed in every way. It was so refreshing to watch everyone work together to make our experience delightful. All of the gentlemen taking care of us seemed happy to be there. Along with the excellent customer service, the food was absolutely delicious! I had the fish sandwich and it was fantastic! We will definitely make it a point to stop by again whenever we are in the area!

Good place, more upscale than we expected but very nice. Lunch menu is a good value with burgers, salads and sandwiches. The Texas Reuben is great, and the Cole slaw is a winner. Service was warm and attentive even as the place got fairly busy.

Someone told me there was a fine dining restaurant in Dripping Springs, and I didn’t believe them, but this is the real deal. It has a nice atmosphere- dimly lit with candle light, nice linens, full place setting with goblets for water glasses. It is in an old house so there are several small rooms which give an intimate feel. Most entrees in the $12-$20 range with a good variety of seafood and meat in not run of the mill presentations. The down side was the service. The system seemed to be that rather than having a designated waiter for a section-all the staff was in charge of all the customers. We got water right away but it took 10 minutes to get the drinks and another 5 to get the complimentary bread. The appetizers were brought out at different times as were the entrees with no explanation of when the rest of the food wood be arriving. I love a long leisurely meal but I think some execution changes need to be made for this to happen here. The food was cooked well but there were a few things that were a little off. One member of our party had shrimp and grits which were delicious but on the plate was a half an avocado in the skin which seemed out of place and not complimentary to the meal. I had a crab cake with a citrus sauce that was delicious but was served on the same plate with greens that had a ranch dressing that clashed with the citrus sauce. All in all, I enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere and will be back.

One of my favorite dinner restaurants. Staff are amazing and it’s a great environment. Great for a friend’s night out or a romantic dinner date. Fish is incredible, but I am sure all the food is. Definitely recommend going here and trying it out!
