It saddens me to write a bad review on cabin coffee. Cabin coffee has been my go-to coffee shop for 8 years. Over the last 4 months every time I have ordered from Forest City I have left there upset or disappointed with my service. And typically order 2 or three frag pays at a time depending on how many people I’m working with that day. I did to the coffee shop to get them at the time. The online ordering app tells me they will be ready and they are already sitting on the shelf half melted. I could have been there earlier had I known they were going to be done earlier. Today I decided I didn’t want to be disappointed so I got hot drinks instead. I walked in and did not get greeted by a single employee. I stood by the register for 5 minutes. Waiting for somebody to acknowledge me… Nobody did. So. I just wandered around the store looking at all over the wall decorations. Waiting for my order to get done. Finally, I saw a barista coming around the corner with two drinks and I asked is that for Bethany? She ignored me, continued walking to the shelf and set them down. I grabbed them 2 seconds after she set them down and I said thanks. Have a good day. Still did not get a single word from any of the employees. I will be switching to the coffee shop in Lake Mills going forward. I should be leaving my coffee shop in a good mood. I’m a good tipper and every time I leave there. I find myself wishing I had not tipped them. I have sent emails and tried to reach out to the location themselves and I get no response. I love every other cabin coffee location. Forest City gives the rest of them a bad name.

Cabin Coffee has a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. However, the prices are quite steep. I paid $13 for a mocha in their branded mug. With no other coffee shops nearby, it seems they’ve taken advantage of that. I don’t usually give bad reviews, but I wanted to warn potential customers. Despite the high cost, the mocha was delicious, and the ambiance was pleasant. Also side note the food is okay, but would have been nice to have my bagel bread fully intact.

Restaurant and coffee place was so enjoyable. Clean and friendly atmosphere. The smaller sandwiches were just the right size.

Very nice coffee shop, friendly staff, great wifi, coffee is excellent. Sandwiches available, bakery items, cookies, different flavored teas, iced drinks.
Update:
Came back thru here again, having work on our Winnebago. Still a great coffee shop, excellent snacks and treats, comfortable seating area for hanging out. There is a drive thru.

Coffee is soooo good ! Hard to find ” fancy” coffee in this tiny town.

I wish they had more protein dense vegetarian options. Breakfasts meats are generally less than ideal quality and although I know its typical for corporate to recommend it, the surcharge for a protein swap to remove the meat and add egg seems steep. Otherwise I love cabin coffee.
