Originally we were worried about coming here due to the reviews. But boy were we glad we did! We came in during a slow period but it filled up quick. Our server was Isaul and honestly he made a huge difference in our dining experience. He was prompt, made sure we had everything we needed and was just a positive energy to be around! As far as the food, we shared a fish and chips, upgraded truffle fries with a drink each. I wish I had got the picture with the initial plating, it was much prettier than when we split everything. The fish was hot and perfect with the lemon, the truffle fries were crisp and salty, and even the coleslaw was good with a little of the salt provided (i dont usually like coleslaw). My cranberry mule was sweet with a bit of a bite and bitterness so it was very refreshing. We had a great time just sitting for a meal with amaxing service and tasty food. Would come back again and request Isaul as our server.

A cosy spot near the S Gates, with a reasonable amount of food options for breakfast and all day. Service was quite good, friendly and helpful. Items are priced slightly on the higher end for the quantity. But overall a good food spot.

We came here to watch the Seahawks and Mariners games, but the TV kept glitching out and the game wouldn’t turn on. We brought in takeout from our neighborhood and they let us eat there provided We buy a drink, an alcoholic drink. I ended up getting the gochujang hot wings instead of a cocktail and they were actually really good! Staff was very kind even though they were super busy.

Smith Cove is at S gates and its not very good.. Some advertised drinks were not stocked. I ordered a Burger with fries, ended up waiting for a while as the server must have left. Asked for the Burger again and just got a bowl of fries.

Grabbed some drinks at the bar before a flight which were fine but pricey. Didn’t try any food. Pretty typical airport restaurant experience.

We got to the airport pretty early, but seeing as how we had some time, we decided to sit for a while and eat at Smith Cove. The seating was pretty quick, as people have to go in and out of the resturaunt due to flight departures and that time they leave, of course, or even as you’re just coming in, it’s a nice spot to just be able to relax for a while before continuing your day/business/adventure.
The service though was not as quick as I would have appreciated it to be though, I was hungry and nearly fell asleep trying to wait for my food to be served, they did of course get to us after a little bit of time, but I got the pike place market bowl of Clam Chowder. I will say this right now however. That I only ordered the soup by itself. Not with the bread bowl, it seemed like a small amount of soup, but it was satisfying. Now, unless you’re really hungry and want something filling, I suggest getting the bread bowl with it, as that will make it more filling. But I also shared fish and chips with my mother to make up for my choice of no bread bowl with my soup.
While my fiance had chicken fingers (deep fried chicken fries).
The atmosphere wasn’t bad, it was almost like those sports bars kind of.
But other than that. It was satisfying and really good. So if you have no time to visit in Seattle and get yourself a claim chowder… I suggest coming here before you take off for your next adventure.
Also if you need coffee, it’s right next to peetes coffee. 🙂 (I suggest giving them a try as well)

I’d intended to have lunch in the AMEX Centurion Lounge but couldn’t get in because it was at capacity, so I dined at the only sit-down place in Terminal S, Smith Cove Bar & Restaurant. The sign said to wait to be seated but no one seemed interested in seating me (and others) even though there were a few empty tables. Finally, one of the servers flagged me to sit wherever. Okay, not a great start.
I scanned the bar to see what kind of gins were available and ordered a double Tanqueray gin & tonic ($21.99) and a Bacon Blue Burger with fries ($24). My drink came quickly but it took a while for my burger to arrive. It didn’t matter, I had hours before boarding time. I relaxed in the place, read a novel and ate my burger and sipped my drink.
Surprisingly, there was no credit card surcharge, so the bill came to $59.88, including a 20% tip. If this seems expensive, it’s the new norm in the cost of food in an airport. At least, I enjoyed my meal … That’s more than I can say at other airports around the country.

Typical airport setup.
The hamburger is not the best but fair for an airport quality The patty is good, I prefer medium (no option was offered) and came in well done, well seasoned and the dressing was yummy. I ordered protein style (lettuce instead of buns). The chips that came with it was sooo crispy tasty. The server was super nice and very accomodating.

Wow. I’m not even sure what to say. Ordered from the QR code on table. Beer was $13, I thought “Surely it’s a larger size, but I’m ok with that”. Nope it was a pint. Then the food came. It was a paper bowl, and honestly, it felt like they pulled off the plastic top and microwaved the food. Then came the text notice – better close out or else it’ll close for you and charge a 22% tip. I asked the server, “How do you close out?” She said, “oh it looks like it closed out already.” Wait, what? My dinner pictured was $42. That’s without the 22% tip. Never again.

Advice for travellers: Do not buy!
Breakfast for 1 plus drink: $60 usd
Nothing positive.
Negative: most disgusting, low effort, paper plated breakfast meal i had. My mimosa was made by someone who doesnt know what mimosa was.
Food looked like it was reheated microwaved and such a small amount for the price!
Service was terrible because waiter did not know how to use machine and wanted cash.
Waiter disappeared as soon as food was delivered and never top up water or drinks.
Food for thought: SeaTec management, please either get rid of this restaurant or find a new owner.
