Stopped here for a chile relleno burrito on my way back to Oregon and I’m glad I did.

In the past five years, it’s become a pleasant surprise to be greeted with a smile.

Reasonable prices and super tasty – if I was more hungry, I would have gotten a combo plate. There’s something that makes me super happy whenever I see charred tomato bits in housemade salsa. Roasted tomato makes a huge difference imo. I’ll stop by again the next time I’m in the area.

Absolutely wonderful mom and pop establishment. Everything we’ve had was above and beyond for food quality. Portions are perfect and the prices are half of any other restaurant in town. I love the chili Colorado, the wife has crispy chicken tacos, granddaughters have the chicken enchiladas. Bomb food! Most get take-out as dinning area is small, though mostly we eat there. We love the boss lady! She’s just the best! If you love home cooking, this is the place!
5/6/22 Google doesn’t let you do multiple reviews so I’m adding this new dish! Cajun spicy shrimp with added grilled Serrano peppers. Absolutely the best Mexican shrimp dinner I’ve ever had! We go here weekly, just can’t say enough about this place!!!

Delightful mom and pop restaurant. Quiet, atmospheric with quick service and small two person tables. The food is amazing with homemade chips and salsa and fresh sides with every dish. 10/10 recommend. But if you’re a gringo ask them to add a little spice to an otherwise delicious meal.

Nice little Mexican restaurant for dine-in or take out. Not a lot of seating, but I went at noon for lunch and it wasn’t packed.
The staff was extremely friendly and the prices were reasonable, with my whole meal, including an extra taco, being under $12.
Definitely worth going to if you’re in the area as service is good, food is quick, and it’s overall pretty nice.

Excellent food and service! I have a very special diet, but they were able to make something I could eat and it was delicious.

Second time eating here. First time it was okay so figured we would try again since we live near by.
Ordered carne asada taco plate, carne asada nachos, and carnitas burrito. Prices are fair but the food isn’t great.
Let’s just say the meat was definitely not good carne asada but reheated chunks of roast with zero seasoning. Perhaps what they use for their shredded beef? I couldn’t get it down. My son barely ate one of his taco and said the meat was like bad burnt ends. It lacked any flavor, full of fat, tough and tastes reheated. The cheese was barely melted on top and had been microwave melted you could tell. guacamole horrible. The chips were good and tasted homemade. Salsa great. Rice was overly mushy and tasteless, beans too thin. Nobody was impressed at all.
Won’t be returning.

This place is legitimate. It really doesn’t look like much from the outside (or the inside for that matter) but when you seek good tacos…these are subtle signs one must look for. I greeted kindly by an nice older woman, I asked for recommendations on tacos; she said the carne asada and chicken. The tacos at $3 each are of a decent size, 2x the size of a street taco. 3 was the perfect number for me and those 3 were of excellent quality. The beef and chicken were well seasoned, and consisted of actually meat as opposed to chucks of grizzle or ground beef. Nice and simple, just like all the best things in life.

It’s been my experience the small mom n pop places are the true Diamond in the rough. This is the first place in all my nearly 10 years in NorCal the food tasted like Abuelas. Absolutely delicious, generous portions, and reasonable priced. Will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.
