Nachos were ok. Everything else was just a huge disappointment. Rice and beans had hardly any flavor. Dakota is very delayed on knowing menu items and availability/cost of things.
The food took an extremely long time to come out and by the time it arrived on the robotic server half the items weren’t even hot anymore. The chips tasted a bit stale as well.
The horchata tasted like milk with a pina colada flavoring instead of cinnamon rice water. This is typically one of my favorite drinks so I know what it’s supposed to taste like.
The guacamole was also mushy and flavorless. The manager apologized for this stating that the shipment wasn’t good.
The manager was kind in taking away enchiladas that were tasteless and just a total loss. He offered to make them over or make me something else but by this time I was just over it.
I really wanted to have a new fave Mexican restaurant but I was just very very taken back by the quality and taste of the food served. $50 for this
I ended up learning afterwards that this restaurant supposedly had been active before and re-opened but it seems like they have some major work to do.
Food was good as usual. I had steak and chicken fajitas and was surprised that the steak was tender. Usually non-steak houses don’t have the best steaks, but this has no grisle and minimal fat. My husband had the carne asada and the steak covered the large plate. He also said it had good flavor and was tender.
We will be back.
