While running a successful family-owned Indian Restaurant in Port Chester, NY – Tandoori Taste of India for over 20 years – the Patel family opened a new Indian restaurant with a BBQ theme in Armonk, NY called Indi-Q Indian Bistro & BBQ. The new restaurant is open for daily lunch buffet and dinner, and is offering takeout, delivery and catering options. I recently visited Indi-Q and was blown away by the entire experience. We started with their appetizers, which were packed with authentic flavors and perfectly spiced. The curries were rich and balanced, and the naans were some of the best I’ve had soft, fresh, and great for scooping up every last bit of sauce. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. The staff makes you feel truly welcome from the moment you walk in. Highly recommend!

Very good! Must recommend when in Armonk. They have vegetarian options and it wasn’t that spicy. Food took a little long but the atmosphere and flavor makes up for it. The atmosphere wasn’t that bad, the music also wasn’t that loud.

We had an amazing dinner at Indi-Q. For a Saturday night, we made reservations and were seated right away. Our server Made us feel very welcomed and give us plenty of time to select our dishes. They were also very helpful with recommendations. The food came out in a timely manner and was absolutely delicious, we finished every last bite! We ordered Lamb Tacos as an appetizer, Chicken Curry and Shrimp Malabar for dinner dishes. The restaurant’s ambiance was perfect and combined with the views of nature outside the windows, it allowed for a very relaxing meal.

The waiter Ashok is always so nice to our kids every time we stop in for pick up after school at the Montessori Children’s Room. We order Masala chicken because it is not spicy and the kids love it. They also like the root fritters. Ashok said that if we call in the order they will deliver to Chappaqua.

My husband and I decided to have our babyshower party last year at indiQ and it was absolutely amazing. Our guests loved the food and really enjoyed the venue. They were amazing with accommodating us and the staff was super friendly. Most importantly our guests really enjoyed the food and couldn’t wait to return. I have been to this wonderful authentic Indian bistro barbecue with large groups on several occasions and they always exceed our expectations. The staff is friendly and always greets you with a smile. Plenty of labeled vegan options on the menu.
Today’s order was papadams, root fritters, lasdoni Gobi and bindhi bhuna. The restaurant was fairly empty on this Sunday lunch. Indian music was playing at a volume that was fairly loud, but not overpowering. The staff was very attentive, as always.
The papadams came after 5 minutes. They were rich in flavor, but not too filling with mild spice. Excellent for sharing.
The root fritters came after 12 minutes and had a hearty flavor with a crispy exterior and a warm soft filling. However, this dish should be enjoyed with no more than 2-3 as the portion is not very large.
The lassoni gobi was served after 16 minutes. This may be the best starter today. I don’t think I have enjoyed cauliflower more in any other form.
The entrees were served together after 28 minutes. The bindhi bhuna was served with garlic naan and was to die for.
My one wish would be that they add a vegan mango lassi to the menu.
If you find yourself in Armonk with a craving for a delicious Indian meal, I highly recommend Indi-Q.

A quiet restaurant serving delicious food. We ordered the a few appetizers and mains. The tandoori veggies were very flavorful, as was the mixed drill. The lamb Rogan Josh and vegetable vindaloo were also great. Pricing was reasonable and service was quick and unobtrusive.
