I took my wife here for her birthday because she loves sushi / sashimi and I am glad to say that it is the best sushi / sashimi my wife and I ever had! Everything is so fresh and melts in your mouth, worth of the Michelin rating! The customer service was great, our chef was very knowledgeable, guided us, and open to discussing anything about their food and history. The atmosphere of their booth is amazing, however, the stalls around and the people walking behind does get loud and also conflicting smells from other vendors can seep in a bit, but that I would say that is nitpicking for sure. We will be coming again on a special occasion for sure in the future!

Quick review of Norigami’s “More Omakase” experience!

Secured a last minute reservation at Norigami in Winter Garden last night. Decided to order the Toro Carpaccio and the More Omakase experience! The More Omakase lineup includes 14 pieces of beautiful sushi, one hand roll, and one soup! At $110, this is arguably one of the best bang for your buck omakase experiences I’ve ever had personally especially considering the amount of quality pieces you get. And that Toro Carpaccio is one of the best bites I’ve had during my time in Orlando! This place is unreal and I highly recommend trying to secure a reservation ASAP! There are only eight seats available and reservations go quickly!

Shoutout to Chef David and Chef Austin for all of their hard work and dedication to crushing it!

P.S. The dude sitting next to me came all the way from San Diego just to eat at Norigami and Sticky Rice lol! He was RAVING about how great the sushi was! It’s great to see people coming from all over to try it!

I’m extremely picky when it comes to seafood and sushi/nigiri, but I had a genuinely pleasant experience with the chefs here at Norigami. I don’t eat anything raw, so I went with all aburi (torched) selections.

Here’s what I tried:
• King Salmon with Truffle Cream and Miso Sauce
• Torched Hamachi (Yellowtail) with Ginger Scallion
• Torched Toro with Teriyaki Sauce
• Torched Scallop Dobanja
• Colossal Shrimp with Cajun Mayo
• Torched Wagyu
• Torched King Tuna
• Isaki

Everything was beautifully presented and balanced in flavor. Personally, I wasn’t a fan of the scallop or shrimp because of their textures but that’s just personal preference, not a reflection of the chef’s skill.

Overall, Norigami is an excellent spot for a quick yet elevated tasting experience. Even if you’re cautious with seafood like me, this place won’t disappoint.

Truly incredible and unforgettable omekase experience. The menu is thoughtful, creative, and expertly executed. The rice is the perfect texture, the variety of flavors on the larger tasting menu lead you on a journey, each course more delectable, fresh, and packed full of umami than the last. The hamachi with popped sorghum, sorghum cream, and scallion emulsion was mind blowingly delicious. Chutoro and Parmesan; the essence of umami. The Cajun aioli on king salmon has me licking my lips two days later. Truly worth every penny, and I’d pay more for a dining experience on this level. The chefs were kind, and knowledgeable, and answered questions generously. I could honestly go on and on. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys high quality sushi, and wants a more intimate tasting experience than your average maki/tempura Americanized sushi dinner. I didn’t take many photos because I was so enamored by the experience.

An Unforgettable First Omakase Experience – Perfect for a Birthday Celebration!

I chose Norigami to celebrate my birthday—my first-ever omakase experience and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment I sat down, the intimate counter seating and the chef’s quiet confidence signaled I was in for something extraordinary.

Every piece of nigiri and hand roll was a masterclass in balance and freshness. The chef’s expertise shone through in buttery toro (fatty tuna), sweet colossal shrimp (my absolute favorite!), and perfectly seasoned rice that complemented each topping without overpowering it. The More-Omakase offering delivered an exciting variety, with each bite offering new textures and flavors to discover.

Beyond the food, the rhythm of the meal was flawless as courses arrived at just the right pace, and the chef’s explanations added depth to the experience. The attention to detail, from presentation to hospitality, made it clear this was more than a meal; it was culinary theater.

For first-timers or sushi connoisseurs alike, Norigami is a must-visit. As a birthday treat, it was perfection—and as a shrimp lover, I’m already dreaming of that colossal bite. I’ll absolutely be back!

Great sushi bar with friendly staff. Each piece of sushi was carefully thought through with unique toppings. We had a great conversation with the sushi chef assigned to my party. You can even order beer, wine or sake from Crooked Can and they’ll deliver it to you. Make reservations first!

We went to Norigami for our wedding anniversary and we’re now thinking of making it a tradition to celebrate there. The cuisine is out of this world. The flavor pairing is delicious and the service is impeccable. We will be back for sure.

The food is surprisingly good! We ordered Omakase, 10 pieces sushi were served one-by-one. They are not the traditional Japanese style, each one has more flavor. The ginger was also very tasty. I really enjoyed it!

After so many attempts to try Norigami and never being able to get a reservation (it’s always fully booked and for good reason!), today I had the most unexpected surprise. I walked in without a reservation, and by pure luck, there had been a last-minute cancellation. I finally got to experience Norigami, and let me tell you, it was absolutely fantastic.

This place truly lives up to its reputation and its Michelin Stars, earned for three consecutive years. I had the opportunity to try 8 different types of sushi, and every single one was outstanding. I honestly can’t pick a favorite because they were all spectacular in their own unique way.

On top of the incredible food, the attention and service from the chefs were impeccable. It felt like more than just a meal. it was a show, an experience from start to finish.

Norigami is a must visit, whether you’re a local or just passing through. 100% recommended.
