Went here for the first time and it definitely won’t be my last! I ordered the catfish dinner with a side of mac & cheese and collards. The amount of catfish pieces was enough for 3 people! All for $15 and it was well worth it! Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area and want a big amount of food for a great price. Keep in mind there isn’t much if a seating area, you order your food to-go. Also order ahead as they get busy.

Coming from a chef and business owner. The Whitting fish was not fresh and tasted a little rubbery, I have never tasted fish like that. I did let one of the employees know as I was walking out. The catfish was good just to salty needed balance. The food was very salty, with no other seasoning. Mac and cheese was horrible and over cooked noodles, the collards’ greens were tender, just no flavor. I hope the baked beans were vegetarian they were tasty, I did ask if any meat were in them (I don’t eat pork) I’m very surprised that the food wasn’t seasoned. My first visit and unfortunately my last.

My husband and I went today and ordered, I ordered the Flounder with cabbage, potato salad and cornbread, he ordered Whiting with fries, and coleslaw. We were all in it. The fish was large pieces crunchy and the fish was meaty just the way we liked it. The potato salad and cabbage was delicious also. The fries and coleslaw were delicious but he said that he likes my coleslaw better. Overall it is our place for fried fish for now on. The lady at the counter was very polite and welcoming. The place is small, but I like the idea of having to see into the kitchen.

Heard about this place from a friend. Stopped today for a fish fry sandwich. See the photo of just one sandwich. I ordered fried clams as well but I ate them before I could take the picture so there is nothing to show but an empty container.
They are so nice and accommodating there and the food is outstanding. I will definitely be back. BTW. My side and I split the one fish fry sandwich it was so much. Yummy

AMAZING! So good! I heard about the store in passing and had to stop by. I got the fried flounder, the ones with the sides on it, and he got the fried catfish meals. Everything is delicious. The Mac and cheese is to die for. I want to eat a whole bowl of it. Very friendly place!

well, I was waiting on light to change and notice a sign…come on in we have fresh fried fish. the menu is on window so you can decide before entering the small shop. no seating , there is a sign asking you to wait outside for about 10 minutes. my choice 3 pieces of fried whiting 2 slices of wheat bread (tatar sauce on the side).with 2 sides my choice was (collard greens & potato salad ) for $13.00 to go. plus they make homemade sweet tea for $2.00. fish was fresh& light . I was enjoyed my meal and will return again.

I got dinner here last night. I got the captain’s catch and fried catfish with 2 sides of collard greens. The food was amazing. The helpings were huge. I had plenty of leftovers even though I found it hard to stop eating. The catfish is nice thick pieces and the greens are to die for. I cannot wait to go back and try some more.
