American Legion Eastern Shore Post 199 has a full service restaurant, bar, Tiki bar, event, and live entertainment venue. We are open to the Public! Our over three acre venue includes a 3,700 square foot restaurant with bay views, entertainment and an event center, beach, dock and Tiki bar. Our beach is the best place in Fairhope to hang out all day and watch the sunset. Come join us for food and fun while helping support Veterans and our Post!

The restaurant is OPEN to the PUBLIC and is located in the newly opened building at AL Post 199! We enjoyed dinner there several times!! Everything has been delicious!! Highly recommend the Mahi which may be available as the catch of the day! Such a great addition to the Fairhope food scene!! Last evening was our first time to have dinner. Everything was delicious. The view was nice. Open windows over the bay. Service was excellent. I highly recommend the gumbo and fried oysters. There were 6 of us having dinner. Each ordered something different. Everyone enjoyed their meal.
Some were Veterans, some not. Everyone should come experience it for yourself.

We ate there twice and service was very slow with no waitress follow up to see if we needed anything. Food was cold. Asked for mayonaise and waited 20 minutes while steak got cold. Apparently they had to go to shed to get the mayo. Not sure if we will go back.
