OVERLY EXPENSIVE- $19.98 for a tiny double smashed cheeseburger and a side of sweet potatoe fries! Also, I refuse to pay $2.75 for a can of soda. The cheeseburger was nothing to rave about. You can make these at home. Just like the sweet potato fries. There is nothing special about this meal that justifies the price. No, not even an argument that the use of beef tallow for frying of fries justifies the price. The fries tasted like any other fries fried in seed oil. I highly recommend going to In-n-Out instead or cooking this same exact burger at home. You’re not missing out on anything here.
As for the staff, its just some kid frying up burgers. Nice kid, asked me to use the kiosk instead of talking my order. It seems like his girlfriend works with him but she didn’t offer services like bagging the burger or saying welcome. I found it a bit odd because she would get up like if she was going to attend me with a “welcome” or clean the table, I don’t know, but just gave a smile and sat down. But whateves.
Anyways, staff is cool, I just hope the owners are paying these kids well since we’re getting price gouged for imitation food.
BTW, the photos below are from Palm Park where I went to eat this meal. Look at how big the burger is next to my 2lb. Six-year old yorkie, Flea. She can eat that burger in one bite! The burger resembles the value meal McDonald double cheeseburger, small and pathetic. For the Win Burger’s advertising is gigantically false!

Almost a dinky hole in the wall, the Burgers are excellent. Service is excellent and menu is simple. As suggested, the first time there it is best to get the burger without lettuce and tomatoes. I got my smash burger with cheese and bacon. The meat is cooked to perfection, sauce and cheese compliments the burger very well.

Great smashed burger. Lacey effect (IFYKYK) = crispy goodness. We’ll seasoned, sauce doesn’t overwhelm the taste of the burger.

There is not much parking here prepare to walk a bit (not a ton) service here was good and I thought pricing was fair nothing ridiculous. Now for the food, the fries were absolutely amazing you must ask for their fry sauce the sauce is so good and only costs a quarter 10/10 on fries. The burger was really good as well very solid but the fries and the sauce on the burger is what made this place so good! I recommend it, good local spot in Whittier. Not a lot of seating at this location though

This was dumb good…. Best burger I think I’ve ever eaten in this style. Every bite was succulent and savory. And the quality and flavor in the burger was incredible. Fries were all crispy and by request lightly salted. The workers were very friendly and service was unattached for what looked like a 2 man team. If you’re in the area you have to give this a try.

I was impressed with the service of the two kids working this evening. I sat on the patio because I had my dog with me and they were very accommodating. Food was good, I have to admit that I am not a fun of “smash” burgers but I didn’t even noticed when I walked in, I live in the neighborhood and haven’t heard of this company. Fries were fresh, burger was tasty. I wish drinks were fountain instead of cans because I like ice with my soda and it was very hot today. The place was clean and people working there were very pleasant.

The food was delicious. The staff though acted like they couldn’t be bothered to help when asked questions. They all just kept ignoring. I wonder if they’re having political issues in-house about who isn’t being attentive to the customers so the employees wait it out until someone else is responsive. Anyway, it looks bad. Otherwise, it was nice to try out a local For The Win branch. Good burgers. Dismissive avoiding staff.

Funny thing is I stayed about 2 blocks south from this place last time i was staying in Whittier Located in a strip mall off of Hadley Street and lucked out with a parking stall right in front. Social media blew this burger joint up but luckily I could order without a long line since their Grand Market location had a long wait and i didnt feel like waiting that long.
Chefs were friendly and burgers made to order…. Dined in since I wanted the full experience of the fresh grilled burger
Burger was worth the wait…the crispy meat skirt along with the onions and pickles was awesome. Fries were also crispy and not soggy like other places. I could see how the hype is real…. 5 stars
