This place is AMAZING! Don’t let a few bad apples ruin the experience!!! They definitely do not get the recognition they deserve!

Picked my wife up from RIA, she was pretty hungry getting off her flight so we stopped by this place to give it a shot. Located right on Airport Row, it doesn’t look like much from the outside, so we had some concerns going in but once you walk inside it looks totally different. Very clean and decorative place, staff was super nice sad that’s very quickly. Overall food was pretty good, I ordered my usual at a new restaurant a chili relleno, always looking for a new place who doesn’t batter the pepper, but unfortunately this place does. After pulling off all the egg batter the chili pepper was still pretty good. Salsa was pretty tasty as well. My wife enjoyed her food so it’s definitely a good Mexican joint. If we are in the area and craving some Mexican food we definitely would stop by here again.

Being a former Ma and Pa customer and employee (2001). This was my first time being in the building since 2018. They did an awesome job with the place. I love how roomy it is, Plus the decor like the fireplace and the entranceway when you first walk in. they have a beautiful chandelier that really starts the experience. We came in on a Sunday so there were not many customers there just one family. The service was awesome, The young man was very attentive to make sure we had everything we needed. And the food was on point honestly very large portions which was great because I love leftovers. Plus the bar is very nice looking. Definitely enjoyed dining here.

I am beyond thrilled to share my experience with this amazing Mexican restaurant! About a year ago, this spot was under different management, and let me tell you, I had vowed never to return after a terrible encounter with a rude server. But now—what a transformation! Under new management, this place has completely turned around, and I couldn’t be more excited to tell you all about it.

The moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by three friendly and beautiful Latin ladies who waste no time getting you seated and ready to enjoy your meal. Their service is prompt, warm, and attentive, and the entire atmosphere is cozy and family-oriented. You truly feel at home here!

Now, let’s talk about the food! While some of it might have been slightly over-seasoned, everything was delicious, and the real star of the show? The chimichanga cheesecake. Let me just say—this dessert is pure magic! It’s rich, creamy, and perfect for sharing (though I couldn’t resist eating the whole thing myself!). Another person at my table even ordered it after tasting mine. It’s that good.

I originally came here after being let down by another Mexican restaurant (EL Napal, I’m looking at you), where management just wouldn’t listen to customer feedback. But this place? They listen, they care, and they’re eager to make you happy. When I asked for a special taco adjustment, they made it happen without hesitation and didn’t charge me extra for it! You don’t find that level of service everywhere.

Here’s the kicker—they’ve only been open for four months, and they’re still operating under the old restaurant name, El Torito, which doesn’t reflect the incredible changes they’ve made. This restaurant is worlds apart from the previous one, and I truly believe they deserve a fresh start with a new name and recognition. The staff is full of energy, the food is delicious, and the vibes are perfect.

I’m telling you, if you’re looking for the best Mexican restaurant in the area, THIS is the place to be. I’ll be a lifelong customer, and I’m going to do everything I can to support this gem. Do yourself a favor and visit—you won’t be disappointed!

We were here from out of town (we drive semi) and we stopped in for some dinner before heading back over to the airport to pick up our trailer with our oversized load. The food was FABULOUS but didn’t even compare to the service. The staff went above and beyond to provide an exceptional experience. We highly recommend this restaurant and will be back ourselves.

The food was absolutely awful! The carnitas were nothing but GIANT chunks of fat! I had to ask for meat that I could actually EAT! Then the beans were soured. The salsa was terrible. It looked like a nice authentic Mexican restaurant but would most certainly not recommend.

The service was very poor. My taco has barely any meat or cheese. More of a Taco Bell size than any Mexican restaurant I’ve been to. The people with me also had very small burritos. The lady who served us was very put off to have to help us! Overall very poor experience. We will definitely go to the other Mexican restaurants near the airport as opposed to this one.
