I was worried the tacos were going to be dry at first just based on appearance, but the Carne Asada and Al Pastor tacos I had were all delicious. They were made with yellow corn tortillas, onions, cilantro, and meat. The tortillas held up well, allowing me to dip the tacos in the beans and rice that I also ordered The tacos came with limes and a cup of chili verde which had great flavor and a decent amount of heat. Plenty for four tacos.
I also ordered chips and salsa. I prefer salsa blended when I’m eating with chips so was a little tentative about the chunky large cup or container of salsa that I received. No reason to worry the flavor was amazing and paired well with the chips and the Modelo Negra I was drinking. The chips are thick and appear homemade. I would prefer a little bit thinner chip personally, but they were well cooked and I managed to put down most of the bag.
The staff was nice and smiled while taking my order. The place is clean, (actually I think some of the cleanest glass I’ve ever seen with signs everywhere to please not touch- understandable). There are a few tables and while I was there two were occupied.
They have a nice beer cooler which I was able to enjoy while I was waiting for my food as well as a soft drink cooler with a number of choices.
Four tacos beans, and rice, chips and salsa, a Juaritos and a beer was very reasonable for $30.
I would recommend anybody give Lupita‘s tacos, a try.
I just grabbed a couple of lengua tacos, but I was so hungry I forgot photos.
I will order a plate next time, and photograph that.
The food was fantastic…, better than that. The guy taking orders was super cool, and helpful.
This food is all grilled, so it’s different from the more homemade flavor I am accustomed to, but it is soo good.
With music and possibly some alcohol to lift the spirits so folks are talking, and this place would be a hot spot
Absolutely phenomenal — truly one of a kind.
This place is incredibly family-oriented, and you can feel the love in every part of the experience, from the food to the atmosphere. The staff is unbelievably welcoming; even while you’re waiting, it’s effortless to fall into easy, genuine conversation. They greet you with warmth, acknowledge you, and make you feel like part of their own family. It’s the kind of place that keeps you coming back, not just for the amazing food, but for the way they make you feel right at home.
