We got seated at a high table then had to move because they didnt have a high chair tall enough, which was totally fine. But before being moved, the waitress tried to take our order and we told her we needed a second. After being moved to a different table, nobody came to check on us or take our order for 30 minutes. We had to ask the host if we could actually place our order. She ended up taking it for us. Still didnt have anyone check on us. Food came out about 20-30 minutes after that. I had ordered a fruit salad but didn’t get it. Decided not to even try getting it since we didnt feel like waiting another 30 minutes just for a bowl of fruit. The food wasn’t too bad, definitely had better. The service was just awful and the floors were dirty and gross around our table. Decided not to even try getting breakfast there the next morning. We drove to a local Shoneys.

I have to add to my post so that everyone knows. We were scammed by this restaurant and my granddaughter, who paid for the bill was charged erroneously and illegally by the restaurant by adding more to the total than it actually was. Now she can’t get a refund and no one will respond. Avoid this place like the plague. Bad service bad food no accountability and they stole money from my granddaughter. We are considering pressing charges. My two granddaughters and my grandson-in-law went to eat at this restaurant for Thanksgiving hoping for a nice night out and good food. Well boy was I ever wrong. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. The waitress, Kate, treated us like we were invading her space. I can honestly say that place gave us the worst service I have ever had in my whole entire life. And that is no exaggeration. I’m not even going to talk about the food because by the time we got it which was past an hour after we had gotten there, I had no appetite to eat. They should have paid us when we left. I was hoping for a great night out with my grandchildren and it turned into a nightmare. I would not recommend this restaurant if my life depended on it.

I hung out at the bar several times while staying at the Marriott. I enjoyed the staff. I mainly had water throughout my stay. The Cosmo I had was excellent. The whiskey sour was good. The Moscow mule wasn’t great. The quality of your drink depends on who is making it. The chicken sandwich I had for lunch was pricey and bad!!! I wish it was a breast, it wasn’t. . . I wouldn’t recommend the food. The menu is short and overpriced. This is a good place to grab a drink while staying at the hotel.

Great hidden gems in Knoxville. Great food and great cocktails, what else can you ask for?

We were a party of six, three children and three adults. As others have stated we waited at the entrance for at least ten minutes. That should have been an indicator of the service. We were finally seated then it took ANOTHER thirty minutes for a server. Ordered grilled cheese and chicken wings

Both drinks last night and breakfast this morning. Bartenders are attentive and quick. The breakfast was AMAZING! Large portions that feel like down home food.

DO NO GO HERE ON GAME DAY! Neither their website nor OpenTable mentioned that they only offer a buffet on game day. Normally I don’t mind a buffet but this was the worst buffet I’ve ever had. The food choices were quite limited and all the food was either overcooked, cold, or just plain disgusting.

I ate here twice. Both times the service was horrendous. The wait staff (2 of them with 3-5 total tables seated) would disappear into the back for way too long. I tried to be patient and keep my eyes open for my server, but unltimately had to ask the bartender for a soda refill, and on my other visit had to flag down the other waitress to send my steak back to the grill (it was basically raw). My steak came back to me before my waitress even realized there was an issue.

First for lunch, grilled cheese with bacon and tomato was a solid 8/10. At dinner on another day, I was served what was essentially raw steak frites (yes, I asked for rare, but this was ridiculous). The steak is served with a thick slab of chopped herbs and oil on top, probably to mask the fact that the steak had zero flavor – I was baffled how that’s even possible. I got asparagus on the side and it was horrendous, topped in some sort of strange cheese (looked like cheese but didn’t taste like it) and pancetta sauce, and just disgustingly salty. I didn’t know you could mess up steak or asparagus that bad… Wow.

French fries were 10/10 both times.

Very good food. Drinks were alright, although often too sour or too sweet. Reasonably fast service and kind hostess! The decor and surrounding areas were very chic and incorporated Knoxville well. Unfortunately, lots of pesky gnats.

We celebrated a birthday dinner here on a Saturday night. We were very disappointed in our experience. The server was not knowledgeable about the menu, and they were out of 2 of the 7 entree items ( salmon and duck). We arrived dressed in business casual per their website only to find that this is simply the hotel bar restaurant with guests dressed in tshirts and shorts.

Our server was not attentive and the bar took a long time to fill our drink orders. While the food was good, it was not worth the price and the wine menu was terrible.

It might be fine for a quick bite if you’re staying at the hotel, but as a local, I will not be back.
