Fantastic small sports bar located in the Sugarwood Center strip mall in North Syracuse. Ordered a bunch of appetizers and every one of them was delicious. The jumbo pretzel came with homemade mustard & beer cheese. The Texas Twinkies were bacon wrapped jalapeños with cream cheese. The homemade Bleu cheese with the boneless wings was incredible. The Thai sauce with the cheese curds was tangy & spicy. Britini’s service was spot on. Overall, a fabulous experience.

Chicken cordon bleu tasted just as good as it looked. The fries were seasoned nicely and were a pretty big size compared to what you get elsewhere. Probably the best fries I’ve had in the Syracuse area.

I just found out about the newly reopened Eagle Tavern from their instagram page. @eagletaverncny
So I decided to try the place out again after a few years. I really enjoy the new Eagle Tavern. New management. New menu. Most of all I like the big boy beer board. Great neighborhood bar with a local feel. Check out their Korean Wings & spicy cheese curds.
My partner Mark and I will definitely go back.

Went in there with my fiance after a long day of wine tasting by cazenovia, stopping at the dmv, shopping, etc. he was given a paper ID in which you can only obtain from a dmv with birth certificate and social security card. All a bar should ever need is proof of 21 or over… We are both 23. The documents are more than enough a picture is not needed but is an added bonus for you! By nys LAW it is required to show PROOF OF AGE no picture is needed if it is a viable and legal document. Showed my DL ID which has a crack in it because it got folded in my pocket back when I was working at Chrysler as a tech. Went to the fair with it taped up and had no issues being served alcohol. I later lost it at the fair the 3rd day we went and was later returned it by the police department with NO issues; I was denied bc there’s a film over it. If you weren’t drunk or just oblivious you’d see it’s tape…My point for leaving this review wasn’t because I was just denied alcohol but bc you were clearly lazy and clearly jealous, the attitude when him and I first came in to when we left is nasty. I build myself and people off respect. That was the most egotistical and narcissistic way of handling people. It’s sad you let emotions get in the way of your paychecks. Scan both of those ID’s they are valid. I’ve always been a good tipper. But clearly it’s high strung with no air to breathe down there. Anyways I said screw it and stopped next door to grab the wine I usually get. No problem there btw..

No bloody Mary mix, no open face steak sandwich, no sours and a very small menu. The sweet potato fries with maple dipping sauce were ok, but the overall vibe of the place is pretty flat. Stop for a beer but id skip the food

Atmosphere and service is good, takeout is always inconsistent. I always get their boneless wings( they are generally great) but one time their wings are dipped in their sauce then next time i get them home its plain boneless wings with a small side of sauce to dip it in. Also for $8.50 for an order of fries, they legit give you a handful. There must have been like 20 fries in my to go order. Absolutely crazy!! But overall pretty decent place
