FYI the title of this review was inspired by the movie Roman Holiday. If you are not familiar with that movie, I encourage you to watch it. It’s a quirky black and white classic. Now on to this review. Nestled at the front entrance of The Hub is a fantastic pizza spot. The pizza is always fresh, delicious and never frozen. My favorite place to get a New York slice in Atl.

I’ve been a regular here for a while now, I’ll stop by a couple times a week for lunch, usually the stromboli or pepperoni roll if they’re sold out. The strombolis are great, lots of good stuff in ’em.
It’s good prices and good food. The folks working there I see on the regular and super kind and friendly. Easily one of the best places in The Hub for lunch.

Baked Ziti is nothing more than some noodles with some sauce on top. Highly disappointing. Pepperoni roll was good though. Not as good as actual pizza in NYC, but good. Guy was very short with me and treated me like I wasn’t worth his time. Also a bit pricey for what you get.

Spinach lasagna tasted good but the pasta itself was a bit hard as if it wasn’t cooked fully. The bread stick, however, was a bit too hard. The staff was friendly and the service fast.

First NY style pizza place I’ve been able to find in Atlanta-delicious pizza lined up sold by the slice. Very Manhattan – the Pizza Pies are set up for all customers to view and select, very Manhattan, and very smart! You (and your young kiddos) can review the pies, select their slices, and eat. I really wish more pizza restaurants/parlors in the southeast would get with this program! Recommended highly. Great for families with young kids.

We were scared to try this place because of the mixed reviews, but I’m so glad we did! The pizza was delicious. The crust was the tiniest bit soggy, but that’s only because it’s so loaded with toppings. I will say we heated up the leftovers in the air fryer the next day and it was even better than it was the first day. Next time I would try asking for it well done? We’ll definitely go back.

This pizza slaps. I walk by all the time and grabbed a $5 slice of Italian sausage today. Slice was much better than expected – crispy enough to fold and eat while walking, but still pleasantly chewy… nice guy at the counter… what more do you want?
