Really nice place. Hadn’t ever been out that way before but we were shopping in Livingston and dropped in. Service was excellent. Food was lovely too. I had the Kerala curry which was the special and it was top 5 curries I’ve had. Garlic bread was fresh and very tasty. Will definitely be back

A perfect end to a long day – great ingredients, fantastic tasting food from the pickle tray right through to the main courses. The naan was the best I’ve had in ages too! Thoroughly recommended – if you’re in the area then well worth skipping the chains in the area and having a top notch experience Thanks to Siva for being the perfect host.

Staff were so polite, attentive but not overbearing. Really clean environment, wasn’t too busy. Food was excellent. Best Lamb Bhuna I’ve had. No complaints at all! Toilets were clean and stocked nicely. Will be visiting again!

Gorgeous. We popped in for a summer feast and that is exactly what we got. A huge feast filled with summer specials like the railway lamb curry and some mocktails to go with it. The staff are also very attentive and kind. Loved it – will definitely be back.

I had a lovely meal today at Khushi’s. Food was amazingly fresh and the flavours were impeccable – honourable mention to the size of the garlic bread, it was huge! Service was great and very accommodating.
Only one downfall was the menu size, we found this quite limited and there was not many fish dishes, however still lovely food!

25 of us shared dinner at Khushi’s in Mid Calder tonight! It’s a tradition with our yoga group before we start back for the new year.
We have done this for more years than I can remember and we are always looked after so well. Great food, great service and great atmosphere.

We were disappointed with our recent meal from Khushi’s. When ordering by phone, I was passed between two or three people and asked the same questions repeatedly, which was frustrating.
Unfortunately, the food itself was also underwhelming. The King Prawn Tikka Masala was very bland and largely a pink sauce with only six or seven medium-sized prawns. My Madras lacked heat and depth of flavour, and the Jaipuri ordered by my uncle and aunt was also disappointing. The pakora was greasy and soggy rather than crisp.
I also feel it’s important to mention that when reading responses to other low-rated reviews, the tone from the owners often comes across as defensive and dismissive, with blame frequently placed back on customers rather than acknowledging that a poor experience may have occurred. Some replies go as far as questioning reviewers’ honesty or motives. This doesn’t inspire confidence that feedback is genuinely welcomed, despite claims to the contrary.
Overall, it was a very poor experience for all of us, and sadly we won’t be ordering again.
