I couldn’t have been happier or more impressed with Baby’s…my youngest daughter highly recommended this restaurant and I can see why she was so in love with this place! The atmosphere was perfect, industrial yet cozy, staff was warm and friendly. Service and customer care was probably the best I’ve ever experienced and they set a very high bar on something that should be the baseline of every dining experience.

Our server, Bash (I hope I spelled that correctly) was engaging, considerate, and consistent. He offered great suggestions and ensured we were taken care of through every course of our dinner. He asked for feedback and was extra careful with our food allergies so much that the owners made sure to clarify explicitly the level of our food allergies to ensure a quality dining experience…. They actually CARE. Customers are not just patrons …they get to know their guests and take extra time to make their guests comfortable.

Every single dish we ate was perfection. Small plates main dishes and dessert. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. It was my first time having Filipino food and I was just in awe of all of it. BYOB and family-friendly. We felt like we were a part of their family and I am very excited to go back for breakfast and lunch and dinner again soon lol.

Thank you so much Baby’s for sharing your food with us and leaving us with such a beautiful expression about Filipino cuisine.

This was my second visit in just a few months, and both times I came with a group of six or more people. Sharing dishes family-style meant we were able to try almost everything on the menu, and every single round that came out was a hit.

What really stood out, beyond the incredible Filipino food, was the service. AJ and Nikita took the time to explain each dish as it was served, walking us through the components and flavors, which made the experience feel thoughtful and welcoming, especially for friends who were newer to Filipino cuisine. It was genuinely fun watching everyone at the table light up as they tasted each dish.

Was visiting Philly from Boston and had to make a pit stop at Baby’s! Never fails to impress – from the pastries to the breakfast sandwich to the matcha to the vibes, everything was impeccable. I ordered the rich tita sando with avocado, the matcha latte with strawberry and some of the fresh pastries (not pictured 🙁 sadly) – thank you Baby’s, can’t wait to come back !! p.s. Boston location opening when?

Amazing place! Not a lot of Filipino places in the city, but this one definitely stands out. Incredible food, service, atmosphere… all of the above. I love the creative twists on their dishes and how they have different menus for each part of the day/week. I’ve been here 3x and guarantee its not my last. This my new favorite restaurant

Love this place! Amazing coffee, great vibes and the food is delicious. Couldn’t be happier with this place and I haven’t even tried dinner here. It’s a Filipino place and has a lot of the flavors of the Philippines , while also being palatable to all cultures.

Inject this food straight into my veins. This spot was aweeeeesome. The chicken was tender and juicy. The garlic rice!! Ugh I cannot wait to continue exploring their menu. The seating options are awesome and I love the light coming in from the skylight. The coffee was delicious too. Sigh I would 1000% recommend

Went for dinner. Food was outstanding and very tasty. Service unfortunately took a very long while and we didn’t get to enjoy our tasty soft drinks (like 2+ hours for a dinner for 2, restaurant was not sold out either).

But, the staff made it up to us by comping a couple items. So we will be back in due time. Definitely recommend, just maybe not if you’re planning on something else after.

It was our first time in Philly and we were looking for a sit-down spot for lunch. My mom suggested Filipino food, so of course we pulled up Google and ended up at Baby’s Kusina. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but we didn’t mind. We’re from Connecticut and are used to dealing with way worse in NYC.

The restaurant itself was nice. It had a rustic feel with a few Filipino touches, including photos of traditional sari-sari stores, which I actually loved. But the overall vibe… just didn’t feel Filipino. I understand they’re going for a modern, creative take on traditional food, but the warmth and hospitality you expect from a Filipino place just wasn’t there. The guy who took our order didn’t even ask if we were dining in or taking out. There were six of us, including a kid, clearly sitting down, yet everything was served in to-go containers anyway.

The menu was simple, which I like. But the food honestly missed the mark. The chicken tocino lacked that signature sweet and slightly tangy kick. The corned beef was just okay. The tortang talong was underseasoned. For a 30-minute wait and a $132 bill, it just wasn’t worth it.

Maybe I’m biased because I’m comparing it to more traditional Filipino spots, but none of us walked out impressed. This might work better for non-Filipino customers who aren’t as familiar with what real Filipino food, vibe, and hospitality should feel like. For us, it was a miss.

…So the food is perfect but let’s talk about all the other stuff too lol. Everyone here goes above and beyond they are such an amazing team! The food is insane, I have been here for lunch, dinner and I can’t wait to come for brunch. I even got their thanksgiving meal once. Every dish has been extremely flavorful, inventive, and makes me wish I could reply eating it. The vibe is perfect for a date, friends dinner, or even eating solo! Very inviting environment and always ask if you aren’t sure what to get, the staff knows the dishes so well! Special shout out to Romeo and Nikita and the team in the kitchen yall made my day<3

Stopped in for brunch. Service was slow but friendly, but the food missed the mark.

Eggplant omelette was interesting but quite underseasoned.

Beef was overcooked.

Breakfast sandwich was solid and was similar to a standard sausage and egg sandwich.
