I just recently started working in the Mount Pleasant area this year and my coworker put me on to China House, specifically lunch specials. I have to admit that I have made this my go-to place for lunch at work. For the price. You literally cannot beat it. The egg roll that they serve is the biggest and best I’ve had at a little Chinese shop like this. Every plate I’ve had was solid. If you were looking for a filling quick inexpensive meal, look no further. Also, the girl that handles all the orders and takeouts is very, very kind and very sweet. I’ll always support a business like this one, seems to be a family owned and operated business.

While out car shopping, me and my family decided to stop at China House. Reviews looked great and food looked yummy, but when we arrived we discovered it’s in a gas station. We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and went in anyway. Only one lady was working and she was on her phone every time we glanced over. Service was bad. The place is barely lit and the music was overwhelming. Me and the boys ordered our family favorite general tsos while my mother ordered a dish with scallops, shrimp, and vegetables. All of our food was swimming in sauce and was SO SWEET. The wonton soup was decent and the egg rolls were pretty good. Misspellings and false information on the menus. The free dessert at the end wasn’t great. Tasted like strawberry nesquick. I would not recommend this restaurant nor would I return.

Becareful bones all through the general tso Chicken so gross everything taste the same my fiancé cut his lip after eating there food Looked like they just torn roasted chicken apart mushed up an fried all the gristle an bone all through the chicken beef broccoli was ok eggs rolls great an fried rice Chicken very Questionable and now after eating it we’re all sitting back worried on what we may have eaten after finding these bones and after seeing his lip cut open and it bled for a good while and it’s still bleeding as I’m writing this review I read a lot of these reviews and someone said that they ordered food from here all the time I think it was terrible its the worst Chinese food I think I’ve ever had other than the fried rice and an eggroll which I could’ve made that at home for less than $40 something $$$ My fiancé was starving now his stomach is in knots wondering what could of been in the food that cut his lip so bad . Posted one photo of chicken left in the napkin almost every piece had some kind of bone or something in it Gross

We usually get Take Out from here. It’s our ‘go to’ for Chinese. We have SO many favorites here! You can’t go wrong with ANY of their dishes or soups, especially for the price. However, Sesame Chicken, Beef Broccoli, and Pad Thai are a few of our favorites and are EXCELLENT! It never takes long for pick up, and they’ll make the dishes to our liking, as we like to add white onions or not have the hot spice added sometimes. It’s family-owned and they are extremely nice. They have just opened their dining room again, which is a PLUS! Definitely give it a try!

Trying restaurants in the area since we moved here. Got take-out for my birthday. The sesame chicken was so flavorful! Nothing overcooked or bland. Hubby got pad Thai. 10/10 on that as well! Other members of my house loved their dishes of sweet and sour chicken and General Tso’s. Even my son-in-law who loves spice got the very spicy style. Said it was a very good spicy and still had all the other flavors. My spring rolls were the best I’ve ever had anywhere to date. Will definitely be ordering from here again!

This is the best Chinese around this area. Great customer service. I love the House fried rice & Chicken with cashews. Currently orders are pickup only, but hopefully sometime soon they will reopen their dining area.
