Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Went thru drive-thru had the original whataburger and the whataburger Jr with fries. Neither sandwich looked like what was on the menu board and we had to throw away our fries because they were mostly raw. So disappointed.

We go to this location almost daily and have never had this BAD of an experience. The Chicken tender meal comes in a box. But tonight they decided to throw it in a bag where the gravy opened in the bag and all over the chicken and broke the back. I understand that “maybe” they were out of boxes but take the time to make sure the lid is on the gravy not upside down and dumped at the bottom of the bag and all over the food. The bag fell out by the time I made it back to his job, which is less than a mile from this location. Really sucks this is the only thing open in the area at 2am for me to take my fiancé lunch. Guess I’m start cooking him lunch at home which sucks because the Chicken tenders are his favorite and tonight was a huge disappointment for him tonight! This happened 10/14/2025 @ 2:10AM.

Went there with the family and the food and service sucked definitely for 12+ dollars per person mcdonalds would have been better off the cheap menu. We do not go often and tonight really proved the reason why. Drinks.. correct me if I am wrong but I don’t believe sprite should be brownish per manager let it cycle then get your drink did that.. well salt water is what it tasted like very nasty. Fries cold and what could have been warm tasted redipped in old oil, burger it was ok definitely not a top on any chart. Oh and did ask for fresher fries because these was that bad, lady said sure I got you I will bring some back to you 4 orders never received. Spoke to the manager wow some manager he said we will try to do better. Hope you took home cold fries as well Mr. Manager yeah you need to do better be a better manager .

Awesome experience for fast food lunch. Food was great. Manager, Edward saw that wife was wearing a Nirvana t-shirt and challenged her name a song, she did and gave her a free apple pie! Plus he was very friendly and personable. Excellent customer service all around including the cashier, Nevaeh! We’ll be back! Thanks.

Our first Whataburger experience. Used drive through so can’t rate atmosphere, but the girl that took our order was awesome. Super friendly and patient and excited to help us first timers. Food was good for fast food and burgers were very large. Much larger than expected.

First they mixed up our order with the table next to us. Then came out and did the same thing and gave our food to the other table to come back out and give us the food that the other table has touched. The fries were cold, the sandwiches were old and just warm. We should have atleast been offered some type of incentive but they didn’t even apologize for it.

I gave it a try after the crowds died down so I could see for myself if it lived up to the hype. It did not. The burger was the same bland fare you can get at a Sonic nowadays–in fact, it was physically indistinguishable from a Sonic burger in any way, only that it was noticeably more expensive. The fries were good, though they’d have been better when they were hot; my order took a lot longer than it should’ve given I didn’t show up at a particularly busy time. The food isn’t terrible(though it is rather bland), but there are better burgers in town–heck, there are better burgers just down the same street. And the service is just too slow. Overall, my dining experience was rather disappointing and I don’t think it warrants another visit.

I am a frequent customer around midnight after I get off work. Ever since April started working at this location things have gone downhill! She’s very passive aggressive while taking your order. She doesn’t seem to know her own menu. She’s very rude and has a horrible attitude and awful tone. It’s unfortunate because prior to April, Skyy was the drive thru employee and she’s fabulous.

My nephew just came to town for the weekend to take care of his injured father who just got in a really awful semi truck wreck. So we decided to treat him to whataburger for dinner. ( he’s from a small town and has never tried it ) he was so excited! We ordered our dinner and they left out a burger. Was disappointed because this was our fav whataburger and we get dinner from here often and they have never messed up our order before. We drove back around to tell them they left out a burger and the manager comes and accuses us of lying? Says she went and watched the cameras and that we lied to her. I have never had an experience like this at any fast food restaurant in the boro! We showed her our bag of food and assured her we didn’t lie about missing 1 cheese burger? Crazy when you pay almost 40$ for food you don’t even get. Wont be back! I see why this place is empty it’s always starts with the management. She was so rude to us! Right off the bat accusing us of lying!
