We drive through North Judson almost every week on our way to Indianapolis, and this place has been a regular stop for sandwiches or pizza. It used to be a dependable and enjoyable place to grab a quick bite.

Lately, though, the experience hasn’t been the same. It seems like management has declined, and the team often appears understaffed. The overall operation just doesn’t feel as organized or consistent as it once was. It’s disappointing because we genuinely liked stopping here and supporting a local business.

We hope things improve, because this spot has a lot of potential and used to be one we looked forward to visiting.

I’m Giblet. Yes, that’s my name. No, I will not explain it.

Today I rolled into Subway like a man on a mission… mostly because my wheels squeak and I can’t sneak up on anyone anyway. The second I got in line, I knew this wasn’t just a sandwich shop—it was a full-blown decision-making obstacle course.

“White or wheat?”
Buddy, I just got here. Let me emotionally prepare.

By the time I picked bread, we were already three questions deep and I hadn’t even processed step one. Meanwhile, I’m trying to keep my chair straight, not run over my own foot, and figure out what “Italian herbs and cheese” actually means in a life sense.

Then comes the toppings.

“Lettuce?”
Yes.
“Tomatoes?”
Sure.
“Onions?”
I said yes too confidently and now I’m committed to chaos.

At one point I panicked and just said, “Surprise me.” That was a mistake. Never give that kind of power to someone holding pickles.

Also, shoutout to the sneeze guard. I can see everything but also nothing at the same time. It’s like watching a cooking show through a fish tank.

By the time I got my sandwich, I felt like I had completed a personality test, three interviews, and a mild trust exercise. But you know what? It was worth it.

Final verdict:
10/10 experience
10/10 sandwich (too many onions—my fault, I got brave)
Would roll again

This is not a normal Subway. It has a whole other menu on the other side of the restaurant with pizza and Stromboli’s and everything. I had the famous Italian beef sandwich. It was probably the best sandwich I’ve ever had. Incredible. The flavor was out of this world good. 5 stars and 10/10!!!

The girl making the sandwiches was amazing and deserves 5 stars. She was getting no help and was still working fast and efficiently as she could while still being polite to customers. The other lady was rude and just stood there not helping. I had to wait an hour past my online pickup time because they were busy but she still just stood there and watched while being extremely rude to customers.

BLT, super easy. Paid for extra bacon, didn’t get extra. Asked for more mayo, didn’t get any. Bread has to be 6 days old, not good. Husbands has more sauce on the paper than the sandwich. Missed the mark this time

The italian beef sandwiches have changed. Not much beef and different bread. So it’s now just an Italian beef. The flavor is still there but it’s not anything one would expect to get from Brantwood back in the day. A year ago you could barely pick a half of a sandwich up. Now the meat doesn’t cover the bun.
