I had the 1/2 Lb burger. It was cooked perfectly. Juicy and delicious. Flavorful.

On an easy grade, 5- star BBQ hut that cooks with real smoke! The flavor is ever- present in the “pulled” and the ribeye. rib eye. There visiting again and happy to do so.

Great stop on the scenic route home today! My wife had never been in LaCenter before and we were headed on down to LBL. Smokey D’s was terrific! I had the catfish and my wife had the pulled pork with the Smokey D’s bbq sauce. Both were excellent! We split a piece of pecan pie and it was tremendous!! Recommend it warmed if you get it!

First time going. Staff were attentive and made it a nice experience. The place was clean and tidy. Smokey burger was great, and the Philly cheese steak was excellent. Have had their bbq at gatherings and highly recommend it. It’s why I stopped by when I saw the restaurant. Lol.

Great family restaurant owned by a great family. Good atmosphere and good food. The BBQ is amazing but the sauce is the BEST!! I highly recommend the chicken philly sandwich. Love it when the train runs around the dining room. Give them a try.

We use to live in this small city and eat here all the time. Being nostalgic we stopped on our way through to grab some food. The food did not come out good I ordered and had no flavor. It was just wet chicken tenders that made my bread soggy with no flavor. The seafood and fries tasted like old grease. The smell inside was like old grease. Our waitress while polite was to busy doing things. The dining room was not busy or crowded. We went back because we had many fond memories and while I’m willing to over look many things and be understanding the experience we had was unwarranted. People will over look a lot got good food, but not even that helped them. I hope they take a moment to slow down and regroup. They honestly use to be so much better. I look forward to it being better when we get a chance to go back.

This place has fantastic barbecue. The best thing is the barbecue sauce! That’s the best I’ve ever eaten in my entire life! I’ll buy a case of this every time I go through this area! I have barbecue while I’m there.
