Great Italian restaurant! The menu contains very nice options, with also some unusual dishes which is distinctive from your standard restaurant. Definitely difficult to make a perfect choice with the many options I wanted to try. Also the manner in which the dishes are prepared and served is a nice surprise, different than what you are used to in a good way. The wine menu is really impressive. A wide variety of options, in terms of tast and quality. Service by the staff is excellent, very high level but still very friendly and approachable. Highly recommended!

It was our fourth time at Il Carpaccio, and just like every visit before, the food was absolutely amazing. Whatever you choose from the menu, you simply can’t go wrong. But tonight, Matteo our server truly stood out. His service was on another level. He expertly guided us through the wine list, explaining each pairing for every course with enthusiasm and knowledge. Thanks to his warm hospitality, this visit was our best one yet.

Very hospitality minded staff, in the restaurant and kitchen, a well played team try to give you a nice stay with good food. Helpful and quick if you have a question, not every minute at the table for a drink or whatever. Being there at the right time, to serve or assist, nice work.
Portion are good, my experience more Italian sizes, so more courses to enjoy.

Well, the restaurant is located in a beautiful place and the food was great. So was the wine. But. It took longer that 1 hr to get the main course. And then we’ve waited for another hour for our desserts to only figure out that they were never coming. They didn’t put in the order and closed our tab since it was already the closing time. We’ve waited for nothing before a 100 kilometres drive home. Wanted to ask where’s our food earlier, but otherwise very pleasant waiters were almost actively avoiding us. This was not even the busiest day of the week… what a pity.

Delicious Italian food & friendly and helpful staff. We had the lunch menu. Size wise the dishes are very balanced: not too big, not too small. The staff gives you time to enjoy the food and your meal. And they had good wine recommendations.

From an Italian living in Zwolle, this is definitely not an Italian restaurant! It might be good for Dutch standards, but we would never do pasta with pieces of fishes which were also not that good. I would rather remove the “Italian” from this restaurant taking also into account how much they have charged for it…

We went into town and had some really fresh oysters and prosecco for starters. It was a perfect lovely summer evening in the centre of town. Not cheap but worth the money.
