We dined this week and had such an amazing experience we are going back again. Our server Steffie was perfect! She walked us through our dinning experience with perfect measure. Starting with cocktails, their margarita is crisp, flavorful and spirited. The sourdough with smoked butter and salt is a must! It was difficult to choose from the diverse appetizer and entree options. We had local sea bass and filet. undeniable preparation and presentation. Certainly worthy of a Michelin nod. Quietly positioned behind the trees, you will find a magical intimate experience with superlative attributes.

All of our apps were delicious, especially the fufu and salad! The main plates (surf and turf and the fish) were slightly salty so that was a bit disappointing. But we enjoyed our starters and the ambience of this restaurant and would go back again!

⭐ Kitchen San José del Cabo is truly one of the most memorable dining experiences we have had anywhere.
We discovered this absolute gem during our first visit four months ago in November, quite by accident, and it quickly became a place we knew we had to return to.
The atmosphere is very warm and inviting, surrounded by beautiful earthy plants and natural elements that make you feel as though you’ve been whisked away to another little paradise, even while already enjoying the beauty of San José del Cabo.
The food is simply extraordinary.
While waiting for our table that first evening, a group leaving the restaurant was raving about the 1000 Days Sourdough Bread with smoked butter. We had no idea what to expect, but decided we had to try it. WOW!!!! The Best Ever! Perfectly grilled, warm, and unbelievably flavorful. It is the kind of bread you find yourself talking about long after the meal.
The Charcoal Roasted Beets with Gorgonzola Cream were another standout, creative, beautifully balanced, and Absolutely Delicious. Every dish delivered a true explosion of flavor with each bite, and you can genuinely taste the care, creativity, and thought behind this unique menu.
The service was Exceptional from beginning to end. Baruch, the manager, was gracious and welcoming, and our server Steffie was wonderful, attentive, warm, and genuinely made the entire evening feel special.
Our experience was so memorable that we decided we would return from Canada to celebrate my husband’s 65th birthday here and bring our family to share in this wonderful experience.
Now four months later, here in March, our plans are already set, and in just three short weeks we will be back for the celebration, which truly says everything about how special this place is.

Fabulous dining experience! The staff is very knowledgeable, Steffie – our server – for both of the days we were here was super sweet 🙂 we tried almost every dish on the menu and everything was equally stellar! The place itself is also beautiful, great music, chill tropical vibes! Make sure to visit this place when vacationing in Cabo!

The restaurant changes menus on a quarterly basis. We arrived on a Thursday in December and found the “autumn” menu that is significantly different from the one reviewed here. Fortunately, the small bites of roasted beets and sourdough are still available and tasty as many alluded. The main dishes, though, are quite different. We had sea bass, filet mignon, and surf and turf. All are great and filling! Good thing is Thursday is the night market day that we can walk it off. Best way to spend the night!

Another delight in San Jose del Cabo. Charming outdoor seating area (exposed brick, open kitchen, rustic and cool bar, and lovely flora), terrific food (creative, fresh, and delicious), and attentive friendly service (but not overbearing). My husband and I split two appetizers, each had an entree, and had a bottle of wine (maybe the most expensive bottle on the menu) and two sparkling waters. Will definitely be back! P.S. the sourdough is not to be missed!

Had a very memorable experience with their tasting menu. Each course had something that was… off the charts! followed by something else that was excellent. Not inexpensive but the value cannot be beat.
We had the good fortune of being able to sit in front of the expediter. What a class act she is and WOW! does she know how to deliver. All staff are working hard and fast but they have the patience tableside to offer calm excellent service. A real treat and pleasure. Highly recommend.
