I wasn’t sure what to expect- I found the place on google while I was searching for a fun place to take my wife on Valentine’s Day that we’ve never been to. Looked cute in the pictures, so figured would give it a shot…and I am so so so happy we did!
It has an incredible rustic feel (being an actual old Mill that’s almost 200 years old) and a warm a cozy vibe. The hostess was very kind, and sat us immediately, even though we were a tad early for our reservation. My wife was super excited because there was a working wood-burning stove right next to our table and it was so calming and toasty!
The waitress was a delight, and incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Since it was V-Day they had a special menu for the night, and I promise every option looked incredible- it was really hard to choose! Needless to say, the Steak I ordered was truly one of the best I’ve ever had. It was cooked to perfection. The drink menu has some delicious options as well, and fit the vibe perfectly!
For desert I got this insane Apple Fritter + ice cream bowl that really blew me away. If I wasn’t so full, I would’ve ordered a second it was so good!
Such an awesome place. I’m very excited to go back again. It is easily the best Google search I’ve ever made for a restaurant!

I’m a foodie but more a service snob. This restaurant surely didn’t disappoint…Chuck and his staff are People pleasers… THE FOOD!! The food was incredible, we ordered three apps , we couldn’t decide on just one, stuffed mushrooms were delicious, the crab cake were amazing and the tuna tempura was perfect. For our entrees I ordered salmon pasta (incredible) and my gf had the eggplant. First time here and their ambience was just warm and comforting… if you haven’t tried this Gem do yourself a favor and take a ride you will not be disappointed…. PS. Try the hot pepper soup as well … phenomenal!!!

My friend and I went for dinner here it was amazing our server Sam was so fun and sweet, she kept checking in on us and kept us stocked with bread and butter! The food was also amazing huge servings definitely worth the price! The atmosphere was gorgeous we sat outside and it was amazing! I’ve been back there two more times after this and still feel the same it’s great! And chuck the owner was warm and inviting and on our way out he stopped what he was doing to ask about our meal and our days. Love it here.

We used to frequent the Colden Mill 20 years ago. I took a chance on the new ownership with my wife this past week. We made reservations well in advance. The waitress put us upstairs as far away as possible. Food was so so. The server pretty much threw our plates in front of us. I asked for grated cheese and waited for a long while then she brought shredded cheese which is not what I was looking for. The sauce, bland. I am Italian and I can cook a very good sauce but I prefer to go out to enjoy a night out.
The drinks were great but that is the only thing I can really attest to being good…
We will definitely not waste any more time or money here.
