Very unhappy with my first (and what will be my only visit) at Uncle Pete’s. My 3 family members and I waited for over an hour and a half for our food on 2/21/26. We were never given updates or an apology for the long wait. The wait was so long that THREE other tables got their food before us despite the fact they came in way after us. We didn’t order any complicated dishes (which the food we did order was mediocre and not appetizing in the slightest. My bbq chicken barely had any Bbq sauce on it to the point I had to ask for extra bbq on the side) but it was still over an hour and a half with no explanation as to why. To me and the rest of my table it seemed the restaurant’s priority was their bar. We won’t be back to visit. I don’t recommend at all. Much better restaurants in the area with better service, high quality food and lower prices. Don’t waste your time or money here!

You will never find Uncle Petes without GPS, but every local person knows that Uncle Petes sets the bar for Quality and Class! I will help you find Uncle Petes,,, follow signs around Elm Grove,WV for the I470 Ball Fields n Skate Park and you will drive right to Uncle Petes. The outer shell( metal building) hides the nicest Fancy dining room/ bar in the Tri State area. Hostess to waitresses features Great service,Cleanliness, an extensive menu with smoker specialties ,salads,deserts,refreshing beverages and always a TV nearby to watch Mountaineers, Pirates n Steelers.

We just left there after eating. Our waitress dropped our food off & didn’t check on us the entire time. I had to ask the bartender for our refills & we had to track her down to ask her for 3 boxes & our check. She brought 2 boxes & the check & then we didn’t see her after that. We waited 15 more minutes to cash out but she never came back.

Food was delicious. Service was excellent. Over all appearance was clean well maintained. Was reasonably priced. We on Valentine’s Day was busy but only had about a 20 minute wait. A bit off the beaten path but well worth funding.

I went with my partner and her daughter. Seated quickly got drinks and menus everything was clean. Great service over all. I had the open faced roast beef and mashed potatoes. The potatoes were homemade and good and the roast beef was an insanely generous portion. My partner had the Georgia Reuben and I had a bite and was yummy. We also shared fried zucchini never seen it shaved paper thin and fried but great. Also the stuffed banana peppers which while good lit my mouth on fire. Also side note the snickers cheesecake might be the best thing ever almost good enough to make up for the 8 dollar price tag. Overall good value for money will.be back.

Beautiful place! Clean bathrooms. Got the ribs, they were “off.” Upset stomach for 2 days immediately after eating. Food came very quick. She got a Ruben, said it was fair. Appetizers were potato balls, which weren’t bad. More fried than flavor. The cheese balls were okay. Out of a frozen bag though. Waitress, Desire, was GREAT!! Friendly, fast, and attentive. Great atmosphere. Would probably go back for drinks, but I won’t eat again.

Went during lunch hours during a week day. It was pretty busy. Like everywhere else, it was low staffed, but our waitress did a great job. Just took some time to place order and pay. Food came out fairly quickly.

What looks like a metal warehouse on the outside is a large, warm, comfortable feeling restaurant. The outside and the inside are so diametrically opposed that it’s a little disorienting that it’s so nice inside, completely unexpected. The food tasted great, and was reasonably priced. The ribs and wings from the smoker are amazing.
