Got Shane’s to go tonight. I ordered online and the food was ready when I got there. Two friendly young ladies were working the counter and had me quickly on the way. Had the ribs and chicken and they were both really good. It’s hard to get fried okra right especially to go, but they hit the nail on the head and it was great! I noticed outdoor seating was recently added so may try that option next time.

Shane’s Rib Shack delivers on both quality and portion size. The pulled pork platter came with a generous serving of tender, flavorful meat that leaned on the sweeter side—so good that I didn’t even need to add extra sauce. The baked beans had just the right amount of kick, and the side salad was fresh and perfectly portioned. But the real star of the meal? The peach cobbler—it did not disappoint. Highly recommend for a satisfying barbecue experience!

On our last trip from Florida to Tennessee we tried to stop here for lunch. It was a Sunday and the place was packed. We were in a hurry so we got some fast food someplace. Today we were looking for a lunch place on the same trip and without realizing it, we chose the same place. Luckily it was not crowded! Service was quick and the food delicious! Ribs were fall off the bone and the green beans so good. Some of the best baked beans I’ve ever had! A definitely must stop the next time we are in the area.

Everything in my order was wrong. I ordered a cowboy burger with BBQ sauce and no onions. Instead I got a cowboy burger with extra onions and no BBQ sauce. The fries were so salty they almost gave me a seizure. I also asked for a BBQ cup.Guess what? Also didn’t get that. Went back and got it myself. The BBQ sauce tasted horrible. I ordered my wife a “Big dad” burger. She said she loved it. Over all. Not good.

Last Thursday evening, I stopped in to pick up two pounds of barbecue. As I waited for my order, I noticed how friendly, helpful and personable the three front-of-house employees were. They were smiling and seemed to enjoy interacting with customers. At one point, the cashiers helped a Doordash driver take a large order out to her car. While they were doing that, a customer walked in and the young lady who was taking food to the tables jumped in on the register to help out. In a day and age when customer service seems to be a lost art, it was refreshing to see people who are committed to doing a great job and doing it with a smile. Shane’s, you are fortunate to have these three young ladies on your team.

Horrible ribs. Seemed to be boiled with some sauce on top. Didn’t even remove the membrane. Pork appeared to be baked in the oven and had no flavor. Mac and cheese was tasteless. Like boiled noodles with canned cheese sauce. Worst than store-bought frozen. The only good things were the fried okra and Texas toast. Never going back.
