My dad and step mom love coming so I was excited to come and try one Sunday after church. Everyone was super friendly and our waitress was very kind. I got the nachos and they were very good and fresh. The salsa is very unique but good. My 8 year old son is very very picky and he absolutely loved the steak tacos. I had to order him THREE kids meals. Next time we will just order the meal with 3 street tacos. My 2 year old ordered cheese deep. It’s very thick. The elote was good and seasoned well. My margarita was very good and strong. I look forward to going back and trying something new.

A casual but fun atmosphere with probably some of the best Tacos I have had in this country. The shrimp and pork tacos we both perfectly cooked and although they looked small on the plate were extremely filling. The best part were the sauces, the house salsa is savory and not too spicy and the avocado creme has a full and balanced flavor. I erred on the side of mild spice but if they put as much care into the hotter spices as ther do in the milder ones, you are in for a treat.

I was highly impressed with my cocktail. Best margarita I had in Chattanooga. I’m a sucker for salsas and boy they have y different home made one! I will definitely be returning to this place to try them all.

The house salsa is amazing! Even though the service was a little slow, we were extremely pleased. We were warned there was a large party (that was good communication!) and it could be slow, but it still came out faster than we expected. The margaritas are delicious and there are plenty of options to choose from; from traditional, to smoky, to spicy. We had street tacos with Ranchero Beans and Street Corn, all of which were tasty. Like I mentioned, service was a little slow, but completely courteous and as attentive as possible. If we lived closer I could definitely see this being a go-to spot. There is indoor seating and a large patio with lots of fans. The decor is fun, too!

This is hands down the best Mexican food in ooltewah. It’s authentic, flavorful, delicious food. They use family recipes, and we recently found out they only use fresh, never frozen meet. Their commitment to quality ingredients can be tasted in every bite. I seriously haven’t had anything that wasn’t amazing here. Best salsa, best queso, tacos, all of it.

The food is fresh, flavorful, and made with real care. Every dish tastes authentic and full of personality — the kind of meal you can’t stop thinking about. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always welcoming, making the whole dining experience feel warm and inviting.

The restaurant is clean, vibrant, and full of good energy. Whether you’re grabbing tacos, enjoying the salsa flight, or trying one of their signature margaritas, you can feel the passion behind the food.

Nacho Libre Taquería has easily become one of my favorite spots. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, great service, and a great atmosphere.

A local restaurant offering great, fresh tasting dishes and unique, house crafted salsas. Be sure to save room for dessert; the churros lava cake is amazing! Portions were generous. I encourage them to consider changing their metal sears and stools for something more comfortable for their patrons.

The restaurant is conveniently located in a great spot, offering a chill and relaxing atmosphere. The decor is impressive, featuring unique items from Nacho Libre and other luchador-themed memorabilia. The food was quite good overall. I ordered the torta de milanesa with beef, which was delicious, though the bread was a bit dry and could have been softer. The street tacos were excellent, and I appreciated the availability of vegan and vegetarian options.

Came back again, and this place never disappoints! The food was fantastic—truly authentic Mexican street tacos. The Quesabirria and Cochinita Pibil tacos were superb, and the salsas, especially the creamy chipotle, were simply the best. The queso fundido is a must-try! Our server, Candance, was also amazing! Highly recommended.

Had lunch here as a first time visit. The wait time for the food once my order was in was a touch on the long side. I was the only in house order other than what seemed to be some togo orders that were being worked on. I was served complimentary chips and salsa once I sat down. The house salsa was pretty good and unique, not the standard deep red house salsa you get at most places, chips were on the thick side and tasted good. Ordered carnitas street tacos, frijoles charros, and Esquites (cup of mexican corn/ corn niblets with spices and cream) I chose the Salsa de Aguacate (avocado salsa) for my tacos, and a water. The food was a mixed bag. The tacos are indeed served on the smaller type of corn tortilla and I would classify them as mini sized. Def not a standard sized tortilla. The tacos were overloaded with onions, VERY overloaded (pictures included, I had already scooped many of the onions off the bottom pictured taco). The carnita meat tasted pretty good tho.The charro beans were VERY tasty with a subtle smoke flavor. I personally didn’t like the corn. It ends up being a kind of gross milky cup of corn once you start eating it, and the fact it is served in a paper cup adds to the grossness. That brings me to the avocado salsa… it is essentially what seems like a sour cream/cream base with some avocado flavoring. It was a big turn off and gave the food experience a very cheap feel with not a lot of effort. The food experience overall was nothing special. Looking at other pictures from other reviews it is clear there are inconsistencies in the kitchen with portion control with things like onions and the amount of meat on tacos. All things that over time can be fixed with some guidance and leadership from management, hopefully. As I was leaving, the parking lot had filled up quite a bit and exposed how tight the lot is. I would not want to pull out of there on a busy night in the dark. Overall if you live close by this would probably be a cool place to come and hang out with family and friends and socialize. Pretty cool vibe inside and out with good looking bar and a ton of tequila and mezcal type options if that is your thing. It was most likely a one time visit for me for now, as there are many more options locally for a better taco/food experience.
