This is the second time I have been to this restaurant. I really like the food and love the atmosphere. Misty was our server and she was awesome. She was friendly and checked in on use several times.

Solid atmosphere, friendly owners, and fantastic live music the Thursday night we went. The brisket was a bit dry, but the mashed garlic taters, and especially the glazed carrots, were 10/10. Would also highly recommend the cheese ravioli appetizer. Service speed was great for a group of 14.

they’re going downhill at breakneck speed. Covid took out a lot of good eateries and this one is no exception. We seen the prices go up, the portions get smaller and the quality go down. We bought our last pizza first night and will never buy another. They used to be some great pie but now I wouldn’t feed it to my farm animals. Just my 2 cents and your milage may vary.

A gem in far-away Maynardville I like the simplicity of the food and the unpretentious Southern hospitality. We ordered Nachos, Hotdog and Catfish, and sides (okra, coleslaw, fries). Sweet Iced Tea is just the right amount of sweetness and freshly brewed, not the diabetic-sweet Iced Tea that the South is known for. Coffee is not up to our coffee snob standard, but that’s fine (coz we shall definitely drink superb coffee at home). Try their cherry pie, it’s very delish! Restroom is very clean.

The food was very good as was the service. Highly recommend the smoked cheese and pepper jelly, Boston butt, brisket and ribs. The spinach Maria and fried okra was also very good. Key lime pie was also good but the blueberry lemonade didn’t have much flavor. The only negative was the bathroom which had a strong urine odor. If you went in there first, you’d leave without ordering.

The food was superb, especially nice and soft for people with no teeth or bad teeth. When they say chicken tenders they mean tender. The catfish was just as tender. The sauces were wonderful. On top of everything else it was even a Pepsi place. Negatives: prices were average, service was very slow but quite friendly.

Straight trash. The people who eat here have no taste buds. Beans were dry as hell! Chicken bland with no taste whatsoever. The fact that you handed this to me with a smile tells me more about the business than the food. That was my first and last time I’ll eat there. The girl at the counter was nice, though.

I ordered the lunch special of pulled chicken with slaw, fries and hush muffins with a sweet tea and lemon. The sweet tea was not very sweet so I added a sweet&low. Next time I must remember to have a Pepsi instead.
The chicken was well cooked. This time I preferred the red top sauce is definately my favorite! The slaw didn’t taste as good as last time so I exchanged them for a Mac and Cheese. It was a good choice becsuse the M&C was YUMMY! The fries were good. I dipped them in mayonaise. The hush muffins were delicious.
The atmosphere was quiet, not many people.

I ordered the breast and leg Qtr. along with Joy’s slaw and home style chips. The meat was cooked very well although charred (or smoked). The slaw was ok but I didn’t like the chips much. It came with hush muffins (hush puppies but in a small muffin shape). I asked for a small portion of their cheese sauce. I didn’t like it very much. It was thick not like sauce. I did like the sweet (white top) and mild (yellow top) bbq sauces. We do plan on coming back as we did like it. I posted a more recent menu as the others were old.

Genuine welcome. Food was delicious (grilled jumbo shrimp and the Philly Cheese Brisket sandwich ). Service was very good. Kind and gracious. We will be back. Looking forward to trying the ribs!

Food can be good, but ribs were cold on one end. They have some good standout meals, others are just okay. Seems to be a solid place to come watch the game or order drinks with their larger projector.
