This little local place is just a block from my apartment so most of the time I just get my food to-go and every time, it’s phenomenal!! Really can’t go wrong with anything and it’s always packaged nice and tastes fresh. My favorite is the pollo tacos dorados (flautas.)
Other favs are the chicken tortilla soup, quesadillas, pinto beans, and of course a Mexican Coke!

I have been eating here for a while now but unfortunately after tonight I will no longer be returning. I’d like to clarify the staff is very nice and my poor interaction was with the OWNER. One of the entrees I ordered were made incorrectly and I went back in to let them know. The owner told his cashier to refund me for the dish as the grill is shut off and they’re closing (mind you this was at 12am and online they are open until 3am). I thanked them and was on my way out until the owner called me back in and decided he wanted the dish back that he refunded me for. I explained to him if he wants to keep my money after messing up the order, I’d like my order remade. He says that can’t happen and says that I’ll probably eat the dish anyway. I then emphasize that I clarified what I wanted and my order was repeated back to me correctly but it was still made incorrectly, it is the fault of the restaurant. He asks if I’m going to throw it out to which I then tell him if I toss this dish, the person it is intended for will not be able to eat AND this isn’t even the first time my order was made incorrectly. ITS ACTUALLY THE 5TH OCCASION THEY MESS UP MY ORDER. As he cannot correct HIS mistake, it is only fair to refund me at LEAST. After a minute of going back and forth he decides to drop it and told me to forget it and have a good night. Super unfortunate as the food is good but the owner seems to have 0 hospitality and common sense.

Gloria’s is my favorite local restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, it feels like family. The food is incredible. Their menu is very extensive, featuring traditional Mexican with American and fusion dishes. My husband complains I’ve been ruined bc of this wonderful restaurant. I won’t cook as much. I want chicken tacos!!!

Very disappointed with the service I received today. Placed an order over the phone, requested extra extra cheese on the black bean nachos. Was told it was not a problem. Received my order, tipped 50% because it’s snowing. NO cheese on the nachos. Called simply to provide feedback. Did not expect the delivery person to remake the trip, but wanted to let them know of the error made by the kitchen. The young lady on the phone got very defensive and borderline rude. After years of being a patron of this establishment, rethinking giving them my business if they simply won’t believe their customers. As I said, very disappointed.

The food is decent, but unfortunately, I’ve gotten hair in my food twice. I’ve ordered multiple times. Yesterday, I ordered enchiladas and there was hair wrapped around the meat, which is very unpleasant. I complained the first time. This was the last time I’ll order food from there! I even sent the pictures to Grubhub!

I haven’t had tacos in sooo long and tbh this is the best tacos I’ve ever had. I don’t think anyone could top them right now. I would highly recommend everyone to stop at this restaurant and order here cause it taste soo fresh and it’s perfectly warm. This is a family own business and they are very sweet to everyone.

Good place to get homely Mexican food! The tamales were really good! The chips could be better. The tacos dorado’s with chorizo were my absolute favorite. Will definitely order from here again whenever I crave a homely comfort meal!

I ordered the carne tacos and the queso nachos, everything was pretty good. I will say that I definitely felt that my food was worth the purchase, tacos were not greasy which I loved. I could tell they were made fresh. The only complain I have is that the meat didn’t have enough seasoning for me so I definitely had to use the bag of sauce to add some flavoring.
Like I said I don’t think the tacos will disappoint you drastically bc it was still delicious, but they weren’t WOW (I’m also very picky about my tacos lol) but for a quick go to spot in NJ it was okay.
