100% better than Bojangles and I’m pretty sure they only have 3.8 reviews is because they are new. Staff is very kind and drive through is quick for me the only things they miss is like straws occasionally or napkins NEVER any food. Which is impressive. Love this place

UPDATE: SOMETHING HAS CHANGED: I have been going to Cookout for many years, usually eating there twice weekly, and was excited to see the Cookout open in Louisburg, NC. When they first opened, the service and food were absolutely perfect, but, SOMETHING HAS CHANGED! It’s as though the place is run by children with no adults supervision. The last three times I’ve gone, I was not spoken to once other than the initial order taking. No hello, no thank you, no have a nice night, not one word! Several times they’ve gotten the burger toppings wrong which, when brought to their attention, they promptly take the burger and make it a point to show that they are throwing it in the trash. All of this and not even an apology. I am not looking for perfection at a fast food joint, but, I do expect at least some respect as a customer. One last thing, I can say is that the Cook Out in Wake Forest, NC is top-notch. The staff is always friendly, warm, and welcoming. They could sure teach the one in Louisburg a thing or two about manners and how to deal with people.

The only reason I give them a one star. Is because I’ll order food 5 people they try to cram all of the meals into one plastic bag, which calls us stuff to fall and spill out and this happens almost every time I go to cookout

I ordered a big double burger with fries and nuggets. The food was delicious. However, the pattie on the burger were small. The service was prompted and staff was friendly.

My husband and I have eaten at several Cook Out restaurants over the last few years. In general, the food is good, and the wait staff is adequate. This location did not fare so well. When we arrived, the time was mid-afternoon, and only three tables were occupied, but two couples were ahead of us in line. After about ten minutes, we saw the first employee who was talking very loudly on a cell phone. A man came from the kitchen and greeted us. To make a long short, our food was cold, and we had to retrieve glasses for our water. We will not return.

Cookout, famous for the premium milkshake that you can’t get late at night apparently because they don’t refill the milkshake machine up past midnight?? Cookout was all we had left for good fast-food, man I swear this town ruins everything eventually. Can’t have nice things around here I guess.

I usually LOVE Cookout. Big Fan. My last visit to the Louisburg location was super disappointing. I ordered the double burger tray, (two of them) and the double patties were actually one small patty cut in half. Do they think customers are just that dumb that we won’t notice? It isn’t good business to advertise one thing and give customers something different. Bait and Switch.

I ordered a cheeseburger with mayo, lettuce and tomato. The lady taking my order repeated it back and I confirmed it and I get home and it has mayo, lettuce, tomato, mustard, ketchup, chili, slaw and gross onions. And grease was running out of the wrapped before I opened it
