I made three visits to this establishment trying to give them a chance and the benefit of the doubt. The register person doesn’t seem to like their job whether it’s the guy or lady. It’s not a welcoming atmosphere as the decor is. My first order was a brisket plate and a Rib plate and I gotta be honest the ribs are not good at all and yes, they did taste like they were boiled. My 14-year-old son loves ribs and he said they tasted like Vienna sausage to him. He didn’t even finish them. And He eats anything so I knew they were bad. My second visit. I did the Tuesday lunch special. I paid additional for some wings. Yes, I got 4 little wings pieces, not the whole wing. The wings taste like either the grease was burnt or they double fried them so they could be hot upon serving. My third visit Friday special almost $30 no drink included and again I got the additional wings again only four little bitty wings. Majority of the plate was filled with seafood pasta, overflowing in my bag with a little of scoop of potato salad in a salad dressing disposable cup. Like the dipping cups you get from Wing Stop. I always try my best to support small businesses. But they charge too much for their food honestly. Oh and in my seafood pasta The tail of the shrimp was still attached! I had to dig through my pasta with my fingers to finish peeling the shrimp!

The boy at the front counter was very much not friendly and didn’t like his job I could tell by the lack of care, okay so I said the food must be good cause he had a nasty attitude even when I asked what seafood comes in the seafood pasta? He said shrimp and seafood base… okay so that’s shrimp pasta. Well the pasta was cheesy and tasted like Velveeta and I hate macaroni so I didn’t finish, potato salad was decent had a kick, toast was buttery and burnt, and the fish was bland but fried at a good consistency. I didn’t even get a thank you come again when I went grabbed my plate not even a napkin the bag. Won’t be back.

THEY NEED TO UPDATE HOURS!! I’m from out of town so I decided to Google good BBQ places near me. It was a 22 min drive from my hotel. I drove there and made it there at 5:57 pm on Saturday Dec. 20th!! They say the hours are until 8pm but the place was closed!! Very disappointed, complete waist of time and gas!!

Ordered from this place after finding them on google maps. The pictures made it look so good so I placed an order online. I ordered the ribs plate, the shrimp plate and the pork chop plate. They provided options for grilled pork chops and grilled shrimp which is a nice option. The only disappointment was that they didnt have yams available as a side, but to be fair I was picking up my order later in the day. Perhaps they are popular and go quickly. The potato salad and baked beans were good with a little kick. The green beans were delicious and my nephew rated the mac and cheese a 10! The ribs were falling off the bone and delicious, and my mom said the shrimp were really tasty. I picked up my order and they offered a curbside delivery which was greatly appreciated. Would definitely order from here again.

EXCELLENT! Ribs were fall off the bone tender and FRESH and tasted perfect, no sauce even needed. Pulled pork was phenomenal, my husband said the best he ever had. Sides were pretty good but the meat is the star of the show. And the people were really friendly. We will definitely be back! 2 food snobs, and we 10/10 recommend.

First time to eat here and wanted local food. This place was awesome. Had the brisket plate and wife had 2 bone ribs. Food and patience ordering was great. Would recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

Cool place to have good ribs and chicken. We had the ribs combo with macncheese, coleslaw and dirty rice. They have a cozy place to eat or you can take out, park places right in front. This place is a hidden gem in New Orleans. Must visit family owned place. Thanks for having us!
