Sooo, if you buy a drink at the chipotle in the mall. You don’t get free refills, I mentioned they are the only chipotle in the KCMO, KC area that I know that doesn’t give free refills. Must be a mall thing. Would be nice to see that on the sign but of course they won’t do that or else you won’t buy a drink. I could of bought a bigger drink from the other stores near buy for a dollar less and not get free refills but I went to them since I’ve always got free refills. Until today.

Updated review: I hadn’t been to this location for years. 6 years ago I gave them a good review but my old review didn’t match the experience I had tonight. First, I walked in, and no one said a word. Pretty sure they use to greet customers. If that would have been the only issue I wouldn’t have felt like updating this review but that was only the beginning. Everything seemed okay until I got home. I held the handles of my bag and started to carry it up my sidewalk when suddenly the whole bottom of the bag ripped out and everything fell out in the ground. Fortunately the lids were on tight so no food spilled out of the containers. As I picked up the containers, I found that the containers bottoms were soaked and felt like they would fall apart any second. I managed to get the food inside and dumped the bowls into my own bowls so my family could eat them. That wasn’t great but then I was told to bring a knife to cut the guacamole. I assumed there was a small chunk that just hadn’t gotten smashed all the way but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. I stuck the knife in and struggled to cut the chunk which I discovered was an entire half of an avocado (pictured below). The last issue came when my husband dipped into the queso and his chip hit something hard. It wasn’t anything gross…just a stray bite of steak? that shouldn’t have been in there. It’s been a while since I’ve eaten at chipotle so I’m not sure if the portion sizes have been drastically reduced always or if it was just this restaurant but our servings were about half the size of the ones I use to get from Chipotle. The bowls were made up of about 90-95% rice with the other ingredients being the remaining 5-10% of the bowl. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I’m so sad to find this location has gone so far from the wailing it had before. I feel like the whole avocado sounds like something someone would make up but I promise, I didn’t make it up! It seems almost like a prank or an angry employee.

The cashier gave me a free drink and the manager got people from the back and they managed to get the entire 5 person order done only a couple minutes later then the original pickup time. They also got it correct!

Shouldn’t come when they are closing. They obviously don’t care that they are serving non fresh food. Rice is hard and my corn salsa cilantro is old as hell. Disappointed. First time & last time ordering here . Only reason they get 3 stars is because they weren’t sleet on anything.

We love Chipotle but this restaurant was one of the dirtiest Chipotle ‘s we have ever been in. Tables, floor, drink station, bathrooms all dirty. Like everywhere, they need more help!!

If you are at the mall and want chipotle, go to the one 2 minutes away on 95 street. it is so much better than this one, and I left them a great review. They also charge higher because it’s in the mall vs an actual chipotle.

Wouldn’t recommend, portions are half filled bowls, chips are always stale and the pickup line is a joke if there is anyone else in the service line. Always understaffed and always consistently bad portions.

This is the worst chipotle ever!! They are skimming on servings so bad the bowls are half the size now! The new management is just awful. There use to be a long line to order not anymore!! I work at the mall and have so many people complain about it, when I see a commercial and it snows the bowls this location does half that size, when I asked they add more they charged me $22 bucks for a bowl!! I will go across the street to get mine going forward

Been here a few times, never seen worse portion sizes than this location. Paying $11 dollars for half of what you would get at any other chipotle. Save your money and go to a different location before the mall, or eat at a better place.
