I am not a sushi fan but that did not matter. They have excellent choices of non sushi on the menu.
I tried a variety, everything tasted great!.
My partner had sushi and raved about the food all the way through the meal.
We were served by 2 as well as the owner making his appearance to see if everything was all right.
This made us feel welcome and attended.

Excellent food! Complimented by the comfortable relaxing atmosphere. I do wish the menu had pictures, but that’s just me. The staff are very helpful and friendly and I never felt rushed, was left alone to enjoy their awesome food!!

We walk in as a party of three. The host asks us “three? Sit wherever you’d like”. The business isn’t too busy as we come in, and we take a seat by the window. Our server introduces himself, plops us down some menus, and asks us what we’d like to drink. We order our drinks, and take a look at the menu. By the time our server comes back with our drinks, which was very quick, we’re ready to order our appetizers, which is just one, the jalapeno poppers with spicy tuna (p1). He goes away to put that in the computer, and we continue looking at the menu. By the time he comes back, we are ready to order our entrées. Me and one of my compatriots order the Miso Soup (v1). I included a video of opening it, for the sake of presentation. It was beautiful. I also ordered the Dragon Maki roll (p2). My compatriots ordered the deep fried Nevada roll(top, p3,4) as well as the deep fried Red Devil roll(bottom, p3,4). My Dragon Maki came out first, and then the two deep fried rolls came out at the same time. I did have to request wasabi and ginger, but that’s fine by me, as I would rather have to request them then have them go to waste by individuals who don’t eat them. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here. The wasabi is imitation wasabi, but that’s to be expected based on the location. I was not able to photograph the inside of the restaurant, but as a description, it was a very beautiful, modern Japanese design, with several Lucky Cats behind the bar. Soft jazz was playing on the overhead speaker.
10/10 experience. Would eat here again. Maybe I’ll try some Nigiri next time.

I’ve gotten take out from here several times for lunch, and tonight we decided to pick up dinner. I called in an order for my husband to pick up on his way home from work, and an employee who answered the phone and took my order. I told her my husband would pay for our order when he got there, I was sending him money for dinner. He was already sitting there waiting when I was done ordering. She told me she would call me when our order was finished, hung up with me then walked over to tell him they were not making our order (I know, it doesn’t make sense) so he texted me he would head home because they weren’t making it. I was confused so I called back, spoke to the same employee and she told me they were making our food. All of this would not matter except our meals were disgusting. My husband’s chicken teriyaki was inedible, the chicken was a horrible texture, the sauce was watery and the vegetables were wet and disgusting. My sushi rolls were made poorly and the order was incorrect so I paid for three rolls instead of two, and they were poorly made (all rice no filling), the cucumber was slimy.. I’m so disappointed. I thought I had found my local sushi spot and it seems like because of a communication confusion, we got a really bad meal out of spite.

Their sushi was so good! We had the fried California which was crispy and yummy and the Oregon which had so much flavor and texture. Noodles were also at the table, perfectly sauced, and tempura which was a generous serving and not too oily.
