I stopped in at McJames Sports Pub and had the burgers and fries and they were excellent. The burger was cooked just right and the fries were hot and fresh. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and it’s a great place to grab a bite and watch the game. You can tell the owner actually cares about the place and the people who come in. If you’re in the Brook Park area and looking for a good local sports bar with good food and good people, this is definitely worth checking out.

Called the bar if they show epl football ( soccer ) man united vs newcastle on a boxind fay dec 26, Adam was superful helpful and switch the channel to show us a game . Highly appreciated . We directly came to this bar for the game and food and some drinks from the airport , Adam took care of us and food is delicious .
We got Hawaiian burger and fries , it was amazing and also got a chance to talk with the chef , highly experienced guy and knows his craft , Yummy . Highly recommed this place , it you want to watch some football , this is the place . this is Manchester United bar from now on everybody is welcome tho.

We went here for their wizards and wands event and decided to go early to eat and check the place out. It’s a neighborhood dive bar, which I like. I was pleasantly surprised with their food and service.
All of us ordered something different and it was very good. I had the Patty Melt, and it was delicious. The prices are also very reasonable. My friends got the pierogies and chicken tenders, and both enjoyed their meals as well.
Our waitress/bartender was so nice and friendly. She provided us with excellent service. Very good vibes here.

This is a great local bar – possibly my favorite. It is very casual and low-key. The food came out quickly and was very good — better than I expected for bar food. Pricing was VERY affordable (my Coors Light was only $3). I’d definitely suggest!

I have had the pleasure of spending some time at McJames while home on Vacation.

Once I got back to South Carolina, the owner, Adam, helped me pay some of the cost towards an event that was being held there for one of my best friends.
I can’t wait to come home again, and have some lunches, and cocktails!

I met the owners new partner last night Justin who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when it came to the community and restaurants. I’m excited to see what they do with the space. Some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Food was great I had the pierogi dinner.

We always said we wanted to check out the Pub, it did not disappoint! The atmosphere and food were great. Adam and TT are amazing hosts and have us coming back as regulars!
Mark, the chef, knows how to cook great food (whether it is my usual meal or my husbands ever changing cravings).
This is a bar you don’t find anymore – it is that small town local bar (but huge on the inside) where the locals know you and make you feel welcome (with some friendly razzing – especially during football season), can catch a sports game, find a fun new cocktail event or just chill out. Couldn’t recommend this place any higher! Freya approved!
