This place surprised me. Has a outside front area where you can hangout, then an inside bar and live music area then a separate area with a tv, pool , darts and shuffleboard. Not sure if they play live music everyday but the artists played some rock and country with their own kick. Also has a touch tunes so after the artists left, you could play your own music through it. The drinks were very well priced, not sure if that’s the normal for that area, but compared to major city areas, they were good.
I would say my biggest wow was their pizza ! For someone who loves pizza, their pizza was excellent, and hands-down better than a lot of pizzerias and chain restaurants . We ordered one 16″ pepperoni pie, and then a second 16″ pie with pepperoni and pineapple. The crust was soft, crispy and edible. Toppings were just the right amount and the pineapples weren’t too big and chunky making it fall off the pizza. Pizza was super hot so it took a minute before we could actually indulge. The other guys seemed to love their wings and burger.
Overall, good place to hang out solo or with a group of friends with a nice calm and welcoming atmosphere that I think could cater to different types of people, whether you want to watch the game, socialize, play games, relax outside taking in fresh air, or listen to some music .

John Hoover Inn is a great little bar and restaurant off the beaten path! The best burgers and fries and the stuffed pizza bread is amazing. You don’t go away hungry! They have a pool table in the back and a good sized dining area.

I’ve never had a bad meal here. Wings are fire and the pizza is delicious. Everything I’ve ordered has been great! Never have to wait long for food. Prices are unbeatable. It’s always a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend.

One of our favorite local places! Pizza, burgers, nachos, specialty drinks. 2 pool tables, two dart boards, a shuffleboard, and touch tunes jukebox. Love the staff and the locals! Sometimes they have live music on Fridays. Check their FB.

I went to socialize and have a couple drinks but its was a great atmosphere, nice and friendly people especially the bartender was super attentive and was friendly and paid attention to all the patrons. Has a pool table and even tho I didn’t eat I saw someone order a pizza and it looked delicious.
