Located in Montana’s Flathead Valley and with deep roots in hospitality, Quarter Circle is back for its second season December 4, 2025-March 29, 2026. It’s the newest endeavor from Flathead Lake Lodge, a multigenerational guest ranch in Bigfork, Montana. This is where elegance, authenticity and a commitment to incredible dining meet. Quarter Circle came to fruition as a way for us to connect with our community, bringing a new restaurant to locals and Montana residents. When you dine with us, you’ll see that we’re anchored in the history of this place, while being curious, thoughtful and ever evolving when it comes to our palates and the experience you’ll have at Quarter Circle.

The food is terrific across the board — thoughtfully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. Every dish feels elevated without being pretentious, and it’s the kind of menu where you’re already planning what to order next time before you’ve finished your meal. We had the scallops, pork, and beef frites. Appetizers were our favorite with a variety of delicious items. Dessert was so good – chocolate cake with caramel sauce, and chess pie. So good!
What truly sets Quarter Circle apart, though, is the service. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and welcoming in a way that feels effortless and sincere. You’re never rushed, never overlooked, and always made to feel like a valued guest.
The lodge-style atmosphere ties it all together — cozy, inviting, and unmistakably Montana. From the warm wood tones to the relaxed elegance of the space, it’s the perfect setting whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying a great night out.
Quarter Circle is a standout restaurant and a must-visit in the Flathead Valley. We’ll be back often.
The hostess offered a warm welcome and transitioned us with ease from the bar to our reserved table. The remaining service simply did not align with the price point. Bulky dinner menus were left at our small table for the duration of the meal, water glasses left unattended, and wine pours were stingy. The poor young man that delivered entrees was so nervous he could barely form words. My guests were left to claim their orders auction style rather than being served. The menu is limited and the presentation lacked imagination leaving plates looking empty.
I realize this is a new offering at the lodge and, as a local, the gesture is appreciated. I hope over time they polish the experience. As it stands, I would be open to returning for a casual happy hour, however, another dinner will not be in my future.
Sabyone was best ever…. Little blond hair server gal ( I am terrible with names) was on her game tonight and did great job.
Their new menu is outstanding in every way.
Just outstanding in every way. The tastes are extraordinary. The service is everything fine dining strives for. The concept is so very unique. There are now four CANT MISS places to dine in the Valley. The effort and expense of this undertaking must be experienced to fully appreciate. Get here soon because when summer comes …. not a chance.
We recently had the privilege of dining at this pop-up restaurant that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the beautiful decor and enchanting ambiance. A fabulous fire place, warm lighting, and thoughtfully curated design elements created an atmosphere that felt both intimate and welcoming.
I couldn’t resist trying the oxtail, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender, infused with rich, savory flavors that lingered with every bite. I have tried this dish many times in Spain and other countries and this one was truly exceptional, elevated to an art form.
Also impressive was the steak — cooked to absolute perfection with a perfect sear and a melt-in-your-mouth texture. The seasoning was spot-on, allowing the quality of the meat to shine through. Each bite was pure delight, and it paired beautifully with the thoughtfully selected sides.
The service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
If I could suggest one enhancement, it would be to see a Ribera del Duero wine on the menu. This bold and sophisticated Spanish red would pair beautifully with the rich flavors of the oxtail and steak, adding another layer to an already exquisite experience.
What makes this restaurant even more special is its temporary presence—it’s only open for four months, with its run ending in March. This only adds to its allure, making every meal feel like a rare and treasured opportunity. Make your reservation now—you won’t regret it!
