It may look sus from the outside BUT it’s pretty good! Food was great, good sized portions, and not overly spicy if you know what to ask for. Service was quick and attentive, and the place looks very cozy. Mango lassi is a bit different in flavor from the kind you get at most Indian places, so be warned. Still good, but may be a bit more selective per your taste.

What a fantastic restaurant. The service and space were welcoming and comfortable. The food was really excellent. Complex spices and flavors with great texture to match. A really interesting spot that is tucked away behind an old motel.

Great overall experience here. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. All the food was delicious- we had garlic & chili garlic naan, the malai kofta and the chicken manchurian. Mango lassi was a little different than others I’ve had in the area but still a solid 4/5 (had a little something extra herbal in it but was very refreshing).

My husband Josh & I had our first experience here and we will certainly agree that’s it’s completely well worth it!
We understand the location isn’t your ideal location. We promise you one thing once you had your first bite all that goes out the window. Huge compliments to the chef as well. It certainly feels as if you’re enjoying an amazing Indian meal from your own home. You can definitely tell the love and attention to details. I must admit if you love spicy then this place certainly will pack an huge punch.
This restaurant is worthy of Five Stars all around the board.
Come and Try Spice House for yourself or family or friends. You will not regret it!

We had Goat Korma and Lucknow Chicken along with Garlic & Onion Naan and the Mango Lassi was excellent and creamy and delicious.
Spice House you certainly have out done yourselves with this unique restaurant.

The food here was delicious! Don’t be fooled by the sketchy looking Inn it is attached to, the authentic dishes will blow you away. The space was beautiful and quiet enough to have a lovely conversation over dinner with my date. I had the palak paneer that came with rice, got a sweet corn soup, veg gobi (cauliflower), and naan bread. Everything was made mild as per my preference and it did not sacrifice the flavor! My date had the lamb with rice and said it was delicious and tender. So many amazing vegetarian and meat options alike. I will definitely be ordering in from here often.

The food was excellent at this place. It’s a little hidden gem, but you will not be disappointed. The service was very on point and the atmosphere was great however it was a little chilly. Butter chicken with the basmati rice was awesome and the garlic naan bread is amazing.

This place was amazing. I wish the location was better because it’d increase business. The food was so customizable as far as spice level and they had so many vegetarian vs meat diet options, all prices clearly shown, everything was clean, the service was fast and friendly, and the food was BOMB! Our waitress Selena was very friendly and knowledgeable as well. I’m reccomending this place to all my friends. 10/10

Chef’s kiss! I truly enjoyed the extensive and very delicious menu options. The price is just right. The ambiance is warm and inviting. Truly a gem in York, PA. My favored dish is the Samosa Chaat. Spicy or mild, but the spice is the cherry on top! A few pics for display (the menu is more than posted ). Partake and enjoy!!! (Location is banquet hall at hotel. Truly a hidden gem!)

Stopped at Spice House for a lunch out after seeing the amazing reviews – it absolutely lives up to the hype. We had the Mango Lassi, Cheese Bullet Naan, Chicken Biryani, and Chili Garlic noodles (with chicken), honestly some of the best biryani I’ve ever had. The chicken was moist and freshly cooked, and the lassi came in clutch for managing the heat of the naan!
Service was also great, zero complaints. Would 1000% recommend to friends.
