Win Place and Show has been a staple honky tonk country bar of Ruidoso, NM since 1956! Live music, dance floor, and full bar. Attached to the bar is our package liquor store where you’ll find beer, wine, spirits, specialty bourbons and WPS merchandise. This was where we ended our wedding night. Great atmosphere. Them ladies beast the bar. We had the privilege of seeing Rolling Thunder!!! My gah they were so good!! Best place in town to wind down. Very reasonable prices on beer too.

Youd figure they’d be used to tourist? Maybe the bartender was having a bad day but thats not a good look for someone’s first time there. We didnt come in rowdy or uncivilized. We kept it polite. Would’ve stayed longer but definitely put a sour taste for something voted “Ruidosos Best Bar”. The atmosphere and music saved from the 1 star.

Incredible bar that was thankfully open early in the week (rare in Ruidoso) for an afternoon beverage. While they have a big patio next door (where there’s also ax throwing) that wasn’t open at the time. Better for us as the vibe inside was perfect and the bartender was super sweet.
They have karaoke on Tuesday and live music on the weekends. You’re welcome to bring in your own food as well. All ages during the day, 21+ after 6pm.

We had a great time Friday 9/19/25. I can’t remember the lady that served us on the patio but she was the only one working the whole patio and she Rocked It! Great job! The band was great and the beer was cold! We will be back!

The live music was really good! We had to work hard to get the waitress to notice us. I guess we weren’t “regulars”, so she ignored us unless we waved her down. It was early so she wasn’t super busy. We’ll be back regardless since the music was good.

I’ve been to the bar and the liquor store and I am always satisfied with the customer service. The owner is super nice and she is always helpful with questions we may have on any liquor. They do have a good selection.
The bar is always fun and the bartenders and other guests have always been nice. Very friendly atmosphere with good country music. The crowd had people ranging from young to old and I enjoy that. It’s a good mixture.
The bathrooms were very clean. The bouncer nice, the prices reasonable. They also have live music often, follow them on Facebook and Instagram for upcoming events and info. They also have a patio with Axe Throwing and they do hold contests. Very fun place.
