I orederd a creamy vegetarian ramen from uber eats on Nov 21. Paid $25.17. The food had quality issue as you can see on the attached photos that there is a dead fly. I reported this issue on uber eats but seems like they don’t care. As I didn’t eat that food and put it on the garbage and after having an awful experience with the uber eats, writing a review here as they had said they would reach out to the merchant and contact me back which they never did. I ordered the Inferno ramen without corn, along with fried gyoza and spicy seaweed salad. Everything was very satisfying.
The Inferno ramen was spicy and flavorful without being overwhelming. Removing the corn let the broth and heat stand out more, which made it feel richer. This was a good choice.
The fried gyoza were crispy on the outside and soft inside and paired well with the ramen. The spicy seaweed salad was refreshing with a nice kick, and it balanced the heavier dishes really well.
The atmosphere was calm and comfortable, which made it easy to enjoy the meal without feeling rushed. I left full and satisfied

We came to Kuma Moon expecting a relaxing meal, but a staff kept checking on our table far too often, while other customers seemed to be left to enjoy their food in peace. It made us feel uncomfortable, as if we were being treated differently for some reason. The food was fine, but the experience left a bad taste.

Vegetarian miso was amazing! Wife had the creamy vegetarian soup. She commented that the tofu could have been marinated before cooking for a bit more flavor but loved it. Very friendly and attentive staff. Clean and food came out quickly. We’ll definitely be back!

Was in town to check out Virginia Tech university and stopped by this little gem and it was absolutely fantastic! Since I don’t eat meat, I got the potato wrapped shrimp and the vegetarian ramen and it was really good. My family got the other ramen and sausages appetizer and they said it was yummy too. It’s a cute little place and the service was very good. We spoke to the students who goes to VT are the ones working there part time. Very reasonable priced too so I highly recommend this place!

Loved the food we got and the service was attentive but not intrusive. Food came quickly and we enjoyed everything we ordered. Our table separately ordered an appetizer, main dish, and specialty lemonade/Boba tea making the average meal cost a person about $25. Portion sizes were good so we found it worth the price. Dining area is a little small however, not just with how many tables but the table size. Our group of 3 found ourselves moving our dishes around to try and make everything fit. Other than that, great experience and will definitely go back. Foods pictured: Seaweed Salad; Inferno; Creamy Chicken; Gyudon; Gyoza

I recently visited Kuma Moon and ordered the Chicken Katsu. The service was excellent; they warmly welcomed me with complimentary soup and salad, which were both flavorful and a nice touch.
The Chicken Katsu itself was tender, well-fried, and cooked perfectly. However, I found the dish slightly overpriced at $16. I had requested it to be spicy, but they couldn’t make it spicy directly. Instead, they offered a spicy sauce for an additional $1. The portion included more rice and less gravy, which was a bit unbalanced. While the overall taste was good, it didn’t quite reach “great.”
One minor detail that stood out was the plate they served on—it was chipped at the corner, which detracted from the overall presentation.
Despite these small shortcomings, the experience was pleasant, and the staff’s friendliness and attention to detail made it worth a visit.

First time eating at a ramen shop and I absolutely loved it! I got the Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen and it was amazing. The noodles were cooked perfectly, the broth was very flavorful (but not too strong), and the toppings were generous. I also tried some of my friend’s Inferno Ramen and it was just as delicious.
We sat at the bar and it was really cool to watch the ramen being cooked in front of us. The staff are very nice and quick to clean off tables. The overall place was kept very clean despite there being a large number of customers. I will definitely come again, hopefully soon!

Best ramen I had in a while. Some ramen places I have tried never makes me want to revisit again, but this one I definitely want to come back to when I can. There was so much flavor in the broth and pork, I finished this whole bowl pretty quickly. Noodles were just the right size to my liking, not too thick. Friendly and great service.
