I grew up in South Texas around competitive BBQ and when I tell you I felt right at home eating this BBQ believe it! The Brisket flavor, tenderness and the bark on it was so delicious! The pull pork was on point, the chicken moist and flavorful and let’s not forget the sausage (cheese and jalapeño) so good! The sides we had were all delicious as well! The jalapeño cornbread, the beans and the queso all excellent! I live 30 minutes away but you best believe I will be back for this BBQ! Excellent job on everything to the owner!

I’m on the fence with Campfire BBQ. We had dinner there and this is where I’m at-
First of all, the photos and pictures of food are likely not what they have. Those reviews are from a different restaurant they previously owned. So… there’s that. Which means they don’t have battered and fried corn on the cob. Very disappointed.
The menu is very limited in choices.
I had the Burnt ends sandwich and beans. I was charged $13 for just the sandwich (the sides were extra) but they were wonderful! Possibly the best I’ve had. The beans were different but they were good.
My wife had the chopped brisket sandwich, she was not impressed. The sandwich had too much fat and the potato salad was very plain and very basic.
The atmosphere was very basic. To be fair, maybe they haven’t finished remodeling. But for the cost, it was a basic atmosphere, no table service, it was expensive. For what we spent, I could go to competitors and get 2 or 3 meat combos, sides, Texas toast, table service, and a different atmosphere.
But that being said, I haven’t stopped thinking about how good those burnt ends were.

The quality of food is absolutely amazing! The Twinkies, pork belly, pit beans and burnt ends are my favorite but I haven’t had anything I didn’t love! They run great specials and give such welcoming customer service! They are such a great duo!

First time here.
Pros: the MEAT! I had the chicken sandwich with potato salad. Chicken was outstanding. Tender, smoky, and just the right amount of most. Hubby had sliced brisket and cole slaw. Said it was delicious.
Cons: no fountain drinks, only bottles and cans. There are only three types of sauce, and none of them are spicy. Works fine for me, but others might be disappointed.
Not much atmosphere, but the food more than makes up for that.

AMAZING BURGERS!!! I find it hard to find a good thick burger that is not over cooked. Repmo has great burgers that are cooked perfectly. All of the food was delicious. The staff was great. The bathroom was spotless. They take pride in everything there. It was my daughter’s birthday and we all had a great time.

Amazing BBQ. We had chicken nachos, chicken was so tender. Brisket was fire, Mac & cheese was creamy. Texas twinkle are a must! Seating inside with picnic tables & 70/80s country really gave a good vibe. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

**Fake reviews from a previous business** I fell for it, never been. Pork Nachos fatty and tasteless, loaded Mac & cheese tasteless store bought Mac. Sauces taste like sweet and sour sauce mixed with something else, just nasty. Poppers were ok, but $4 a pop? Then, if you’re serving drinks from Sam’s club, don’t ask $1.50 for a can of soda. Everything was soooo pricey! I will never come back. I guess I will see what rude comments the owner says about my review.
Fine 20oz plastic bottle for $2.50 and a 12oz can for $1 – Two cans better value and still over priced.
Mac still tasteless with your “Nacho” cheese sauce .
Reviews from your old failed business is still a fake review of this one.
I will have a great home cooked Thanksgiving meal and I will continue to eat GOOD BBQ at other locations such as Heady’s, Pitt’s, City Butcher, Whole Hog, heck even Dicky’s is 100% better. Congrats on your negative attention.

Food is absolutely amazing but it a mission in itself to find this place open. Sign says open places closed.

This is a new place, small. Clean, nice picnic tables inside. I had a half slab of ribs w BBQ sauce and potato salad. The ribs were delicious, plenty of meat and very tasty and moist. The potato salad was a vinegar and mustard, which was very good, better than most places.
Also bought the pulled pork sandwich with beans and mac’n cheese. All of which were delicious too.
Give them a try. I’ll be going back!
Update… I went back and had the pulled pork nachos! Yummy! Simple pulled pork and smoked queso on chips! With a DP.
My friend had pork brisket with slaw and potato salad. Looked really tasty. Maybe next time.
But I noticed on FB that Tuesday they had street tacos … And I missed them! So bummed .

I love supporting new local businesses and very happy to have a new venue like this in town. I think their solid go to is the burgers. I am going back for the burgers and onion rings. I had a bite of the kids burger which was really good with great fries I give those a 5. The shimp tacos had good shimp, nice batter, sauces were solid. The tortillas and queso were good, could be better. The queso was a take on qdobas but not quite as good. I am a critical person but the salsa was not good in my opinion watery and bitter. Just tomatoes and something for heat. 10/17 went back got the whiskey burger, the sauce was amazing and also the fries. However the the burger was over cooked, the bun drenched in sauce , and the onion rings when off the burger had no flavor and under cooked. It’s an okay place for Republic and the people are very nice.
