The service was over the top exceptional and we loved the 80s music. We will be back soon.
Facility: Clean and new
Staff: Extremely friendly
Food: Good! How to make it great: 1) Up the spice level. We got 2 items, one medium and hot. The hot tasted like medium. Bump all spice levels up! Don’t be scared, Fort Collins can handle it – take Birwarchi Biryani as an example.
What we got:
Tikka Masala Chicken Cheesesteak – It was okay but not amazing. Needs more spice and more sauce. Perhaps some Persian pickles.
Masala Cheese Fries: I was expecting fries with a masala sauce/curry and melted cheese – like Indian chili cheese fries. Instead I got plain fries with a cup of orange sauce on the side. This was just the wrong item. I ordered the same thing on our second visit and we were given the correct item.
Garlic naan: Made fresh in front of us! It was good.
Tikka Masala: Great! I’m a Tikka masala lover, I’ve had many recipes. This one is a great balance of sweet, spices, and heat.
Mango Lassi: Not really my jam. Very thick. I wish it was colder.
No utensils or napkins provided in bag.
Returned 2 days after our first visit because I was craving the tikka masala so badly!
The staff were super kind and welcoming, and the place is very neat! Very excited to come back!!
I was excited to try this place. I love Indian, Greek, Lebanese etc food and generally like quick serve meals so it seemed like a perfect fit. I got the Lamb Gyro sandwich with Sichuan fries and a Falafel sandwich and Cajun onion rings.
The lamb gyro was a grease bomb. It was wrapped in wax paper that was soaked through and dripping with huge amounts of grease. The lamb meat and pita were ok. Other topping included slivers of tomato that subway would be too proud to serve and (intentionally?) cooked slimy lettuce with a few onions and reasonable amount of thick white dressing. Fries were standard breaded Sysco fries from a frozen bag with some sichuan peppercorns on top. Good idea, execution not great.
The first Cajun onion ring I ate was a blob of uncooked batter that was inedible. The others were closer to passable but had no discernible amount of the Cajun seasoning.
Falafel sandwich came with the same odd veggies and dry flavorless falafel. Total cost over $40 with no drinks.
The menu includes Indian, Mediterranean, Pizza, and Burger.
I am always on he lookout for vegetarian options this menu is loaded with both vegan and vegetarian options. I started with a fantastic baba ganoush with both regular and garlic naan. The gaia tikka masala veggie burger was great. I ordered mild spice but would try medium next time. I was glad I chose the cheesy masala fries as they were fantastic. All were washed down by a Flying Horse Lager served in a chilled glass. All servings were generous. Service was quick.
The waiter was very friendly and helpful. This will definitely become a favorite. I am anxious to try many more of the menu options. Open till 3 AM!
