What a treat this place is! Their special today was a grilled cheese panini with bacon and a blackberry type jam/compote. Odd as it sounds, it was delicious. I also ordered the chicken pot pie soup, but I have not dived into that yet.

They offered a local elderberry soda and local teas to purchase. There was yummy looking baked goods also.

It is a small and comfortable space to stay and eat or you can take it to go.

The lady that took my order seemed to be the owner. She was kind and informative.

The only negative was it was a little cold inside for a cold day. And that is being nit picky.

We were visiting our son and daughter-in-law and went to Saturday brunch at The Farmstead. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT! Between the four of us, we had: The Farmstead Scramble – fresh and delicious, The Salty Rancher – a flaky croissant, fluffy eggs, and crisp bacon, The Rancher BLT – with a perfectly cooked over-medium egg, and The Ranchhand – the sliced roast beef in this sandwich must have been at least 1/4″ thick. Midwest meals are often meat and sauce heavy, so we were very pleased to get more variety at this little gem of a place. The service was excellent and they were great about working with my dietary restrictions. No attitude about that, which I GREATLY appreciated. And they were so nice!
Go eat there! Keep this fabulous restaurant busy so we can go again next time we visit Neosho.

I had a wonderful experience! I was able to get a custom salad made from a sandwich and drank the most incredible soda Noble Berry! And it was allergy friendly for me! I highly recommend this restaurant!

It was 10 am on a Saturday morning and since I don’t eat meat or eggs, I can’t find anything to eat in the morning. I stopped by here and the owner made me a vegitarian sandwich which I truly appreciated. It was a fantastic sandwich, but the effort to help a customer is what will bring me back for years to come. Thank you, it’s tough being hungry and not being able to find a place to eat.

Farmstead Market and Kitchen is an absolute gem in Neosho! Nikki and her family welcomed us like old friends when we stopped in for lunch at their charming, cozy restaurant. Nikki has an incredible gift for pairing flavors you’d never expect together—and somehow making them unforgettable. Every bite was fresh, creative, and absolutely delicious. Whether you’re local or looking for a destination worth the drive, this spot is a must-visit.

The cucumber salad was really really good paired with the turkey club! I loved dipping my sandwich in the left over Italian dressing from the salad! Perfecto I will return for more good food! Thanks Nikki

Would not know the details of the food or service. Menu and hours are posted in the window, but we arrived at 10 a.m. on a weekday and found it closed. Went to the cafe next door, and walked past again an hour later and it was still closed.

The Farmstead Market and Kitchen did breakfast and dinner breads for our son’s wedding day celebration and it came off completely without a hitch. Pistachio coffee cake for the win!!! Sugar cookies and pickles are to die for too!! Never go wrong.
