We came in for some breakfast and right away they tell us they might have what we want for food and then got our drinks and then we sat for 40 minutes with nobody coming over to update us on anything or take orders. Sure, it was on the busier side but only a few plates had come out of the kitchen in the 45 minutes we were there. We proceeded to leave after wasting our time and we were met with a thank you for leaving.

I simply cannot say enough about the food, the atmosphere and the owners. I’ve traveled extensively this country and half the world. The smash burger and the reuben were the best we have ever had – ever. The staff were friendly, courteous and diligent. I am sorry we don’t recall the chefs name (our bad, sorry) but he was great! If you are ever in Southwest Wisconsin;make a point of stopping in. The food is great, beer is cold and the staff is great! And they have oranges for your Blue Moon!!

This is one of those back country bars that will knock your socks off with great food, company, and live music. I’ve been here several times for lunch and dinner — never been disappointed! The folks running it are doing a fine job. The only thing you should know — I wouldn’t go there on a Friday or Saturday after 6 with a real big group (more than 10). Other than that, this place is worth a visit. Gotta love Friday Fish in county bars!

We’re in the area for a Cross Country event and my wife was wanting to hit a fish fry. She Googled places in the area and settled on this spot. We gave our order, and it’s been 87 min since the order has been placed and we’re still waiting for our food. The kids just got their pizza (which they like – but they were starving when we left the hotel, so they’d eat anything). It would have been nice of our server to keep an eye on us, and after 45 min, get in the kitchen to find out the holdup. We asked how much longer, only to be told “Your’s is the next coming oit”. I’m watching two tables get their food right now, and they came in after us. We’re now at 93 min and counting. 96 min and our food is here. Tough baked potato, Luke warm fish, and bland pulled pork. 1st time I used BBQ sauce in a very long time.
